"It's ok. It happens to the best of us." He said. Rachel looked up at him. Her eyes went wide, and she collapsed.
"Rachel!" Octavian yelled, catching her before she hit the ground. "What happened?" He asked her limp body. He got not response. What should I do? He thought. I need to find an Apollo camper. But if they see me, they'll kill me on the spot! They won't kill me if I'm holding Rachel, right? He decided to take the risk.
"Hello?" He called, hoping someone would find him. "Rachel needs help!" He ran through the woods, having no clue where he was going. Suddenly, he heard a growl. He froze. "Oh no." he whispered, knowing what was happening. He gently set Rachel on the ground and drew his sword. The monster took that moment to jump out from its hiding place. It was a rabbit, but it had bright red eyes and sharp teeth that looked like they could tear you apart in seconds. He stabbed the rabbit before it even had a chance to move, and it exploded into golden monster dust confetti. He put his sword away and walked back over to Rachel. He looked down on her unconscious form. She's so cute! He thought to himself. No! I can't be thinking like that! He scolded himself, but his body didn't listen. He sat down, leaned forward, and gently laid his lips onto hers. He pulled away quickly, not wanting her to wake up, and picked her up,carrying her thought the woods until he found the camp.
"Help!" He called out, hoping an Apollo camper would come over. He got What he wanted. Will came over immediately and started checking her to see what happened, but Octavian wasn't paying attention. He kept thinking about the kiss he gave her in the woods. Her lips were soft and sweet, like chocolate. He really wanted to kiss her again, but he knew he world never get the chance. Rachel didn't like him that way. Him and Rachel weren't even friends. When he realized that, he felt a cold tear run down his face. He would have started full out crying, but he remembered that Rachel broke down when people were saying mean things about him. He smiled at the thought, and looked down at Rachel's sleeping form, and felt a new feeling overcome him. He felt something that he hadn't truly felt in so long that he almost didn't recognize it. He felt love. not the small crush type of love, but the full out, heart-swelling-with-happiness kind of love. He sat down and grabbed Rachel's hand while they tried to wake her up.
