Octavian stared at the crying girl in front of him. Who is she? Why is she crying?
"...What's wrong?" He asked her, completely confused. He wasn't used to random girls yelling his name and then crying.
The girl glanced up at him. "You really don't remember me?"
He stared at her. He felt like he had seen her before, but he couldn't figure out where. "No. I don't."
The girl looked down and started mumbling to herself.
"Why didn't we both forget? Why am I being punished? What did I do?" She started sobbing again.
"What are you talking about? How are you being punished?"
She glanced up at him again. "You forgot, but I didn't. I'm still in love with you, but you don't even remember my name, do you?"
He stared at her. This girl is insane.
"No. I don't, and you're not in love with me. You've never met me. You must have mistaken me for someone else."
"No! You're Octavian! You're the one who stayed with me in the woods when I was crying because people wished you died. You're the one who almost fell off a big rock. You're the one who would've died if Percy hadn't saved you. You sat with me near the ocean, fell into the sand, and then immediately pushed me into the sand. You state the obvious. You always seem to be trying to get me to blush, but it almost always backfires and you end up blushing instead. How could you suddenly forget about all of that?"
He stared at her. Every time she mentioned something that happened, another memory popped into his head. He remembered all of that happening, but not with her. He couldn't figure out who the other person was.
"I remember those things, but that wasn't you. You weren't there. I've never met you before."
She stared at him. "Who was it with then?"
"I- I don't know."
She sighed. "So that's what the prophecy meant. You would forget about me, but not our memories."
"Huh?"
"There was a prophecy that said that we would be cursed, and the only way to break the curse would be for us to not be with each other anymore, and when the sun set, both the love and curse shall be lost." She suddenly looked like she had an idea. She walked forward and grabbed his hand, causing him to blush slightly for some reason.
"W-what are you doing?"
"Seeing if the curse is gone. It is."
She looked up at him, saw him blushing, and muttered, "maybe there's still hope."More chapters! It hasn't been months! Yay!
