Rachel felt someone's lips on her forehead and woke up immediately. She opened her eyes and saw Octavian hovering over her. When he saw that she was awake, he turned bright red.
"Um.. S-sorry." He stuttered. Rachel immediately knew that everything that halted was true. Octavian had a crush on her.
"You shall find love, but it comes with a price.
A curse will haunt you, both day and night.
To break the curse, your lines must not cross,
And when the sun falls, love and curse shall be lost." She muttered to herself.
"What?" Octavian asked.
"It's a new prophecy."
"A new prophecy? Why haven't I heard it before? I'm supposed to know the prophecies!"
"Sharing a body with the Oracle has its perks, you know. "
He sighed. "Do you know?" He asked, and she immediately knew what he was talking about.
"Ye- ouch!" She was cut off by getting shocked when Octavian touched her. He tried again, with the same results.
"Great. That's the curse. You can't touch me without hurting me." She said sadly.
"What? No!" He yelled.
" I'm sorry. "She said quietly. Octavian's expression softened.
"Is okay. It's not your fault." He told her.
She wondered if his words from a few days ago still applied.
"As long as someone cares, I'm okay."
