"Let go. I have a plan." Octavian said from below Rachel. She was so afraid that his plan wouldn't work, but she knew she couldn't hold on much longer. The pain was starting to become unbearable. She let go. She watched Octavian try to grab onto the rock, but he couldn't find a good place to hold on. Then he went limp in the air.
"No!" She shouted. She watched him fall and when he was about 10 feet from the ground, he became surrounded by water. The water slowed his fall, but a thud was still heard when he hit the ground. Rachel climbed down the rock as fast as she could, almost falling a few times herself, and ran over to Octavian.
"Octavian!" She yelled. She picked him up and started running towards camp, barely noticing the boy with black hair and sea green eyes standing nearby. She forgot about the fact that everyone at camp hated Octavian. She forgot about everything. She felt tears streaming down her cheeks as she ran to find an Apollo camper. The first one she saw was Will.
"Will!" She yelled. Will turned, and noticing the limp figure in Rachel's arms he ran over.
"What happened?" He asked.
"He fell off a really big rock. Please save him!" Rachel said, crying harder. Will got to work and started healing him. Rachel cried the whole time. After about an hour of nonstop work in the middle of the night, Octavian's eyes opened tiredly.
"What happened?" He asked. Rachel started at him. He was alive! She couldn't believe it. She would have kissed him right there, if the curse wasn't there. So instead of doing that, she explained what had happened.
I'm so so so so so so sorry for not updating! I completely forgot! I'm so sorry! I just left you with a terrible cliffhanger too! Will you forgive me???? I hope so. Anyway, here's a new chapter!
