When Edwin woke back up, he lied in bed, going over everything. He look to the side to see at the book, still lying on the desk.

He still couldn't process what had happened. First the book in the library, then the corn field, not to mention his captors. He stood up and walked to the book.

He tried to open it, but it wouldn't open. It was like it was glued shut. He closed his eyes and tried again. Yet to no avail, it still wouldn't budge.

"You know I've watched a lot of guys sleep, and your the first one to wear both pants and a shirt."

Edwin froze. There was somebody in his room. It defiantly wasn't a family member, nobody had that range of voice. No it most defiantly was a girl. Wait... there was a girl in his room.

He slowly turned around, and came face to face with a teenage girl. She was very pale, and medium height. She looked at him with bright green eyes, and with strawberry blonde hair pulled up into a ponytail. She wore black jeans, and a long-sleeved white shirt. He could also see a hint of mascara on her eyelashes.

They stared at each other for a while, him wondering why there was a girl in his room. She looked at him, waiting for a reply.

"I'm sorry that might have come off a little creepy. My name is Wendy." She looked at him, it was obvious that she expected him to know her.

"Remember me, I kidnapped you last night, took you to a corn field," she looked at him. His face showed recognition then quickly turned to outrage.

"Why did you kidnap me?! You could have just woken me up! And also how did you get into my room?!"

"You know I'll explain all this later, first get dressed and meet me outside in 10."

With that she walked out of his room, down the hallway and disappeared. He quickly got dressed and ready. No way was he going anywhere near her. He was going straight to school and pretending nothing happened. Although she hadn't threaten him with anything he, didn't want to get caught up in whatever this was.

He looked out his window, and sure enough there she was, waiting patiently. He walked down the hall, and went out the back door, and over his fence. He sneaked quickly out of the neighborhood, glancing back every couple of seconds to make sure she wasn't following him.

Once he was sure he hand lost her, he slowed down and continued his walk to school. He couldn't breath and kept looking over his shoulder, paranoid. He still couldn't figure out what had happened the other night, but he knew he just wanted to stay away from it as far as possible.

"I thought we were walking together."

He turned around at the last second and almost ran into her. He stopped suddenly, but ended up falling. He flailed his arms out trying to catch his fall, when he was pulled back up by the girl.

"Careful, you could get hurt."

He looked at her, how was she able to do that so fast? What was her name again?

"Listen, we need to talk."
