Edwin was starting to question this simulation. After deciding to do it, Wendy had eagerly grabbed his hand and ran upstairs. He had been shocked to realize that the entire upstairs was a huge storage place. Boxes were everywhere, with pieces of furniture covered by blankets and tarp. He followed Wendy to the back where a white chair sat with a computer next to it.

She directed him to sit on the chair, while she went to the computer. He sat in the chair thinking it all over. So much had happened that day he was still processing the fact that a train had appeared out of nowhere. If he really did this he would no longer be safe from the blanks. But if he didn't he would go back to his normal life, without knowing if he could do anything like the cornfield again.

Thinking back there were some times in his life where something happened that couldn't be explained. For instance the time in 1st grade when he was getting bullied by Tyler Shuet. Then out of nowhere Tyler somehow managed to go through the brick wall that he had been holding Edwin against. And the time the class went to the zoo and he somehow managed to let loose the lions without touching the gate. Maybe that's why he had no friends.

He was brought back to reality by Wendy putting a metal bracelet around his wrist. "This is what will help you get in and out of the simulation. When I press the space bar, you and I will enter, got it?"

"Got it."

And with that he watched Wendy press the space bar and everything went black.

When he opened his eyes he was in a white room, but there seemed to be no doors or walls for that matter. He couldn't hear anything expect his own breathing.

"Weird the first time right?"

He turned around to see Wendy, her hair down this time and wearing what looked like a white nightgown with thin straps that reached a little bit down her knees. "Nice sleepwear," she said looking him up and down.

He looked down to see was dressed in a white shortsleeves shirt, with white pants. Usually what he wore to bed only white. He looked back at Wendy confused.

"Technically your in a comatose state and the bracelet on your wrist is what's keeping you asleep. When your ready to go back you'll press a certain button, but not yet."

She walked ahead of him and pointed to an empty space. "Imagine an item, any item at all and put it right here."

He closed his eyes, and immediately his mind went to that sweet motorcycle he had seen in an ad. It was a Ducati Scrambler, yellow and it was considered the best motorcycle of the year. He could never afford one but that didn't matter.

When Edwin opened his eyes there it was in all its glory. He turned to Wendy with a smug look on his face, only to see him looking at him with a dead look.

"Really? A bike?"

He was confused. "What's so wrong with a motorcycle?"

"You could have imagined anything in the world and you choose a bike?!" Her eyebrows were scrunched downwards and her lips were slightly open, clearly baffled by his item.

"Well then what would you imagine," he asked exasperated.

She closed her eyes and he watched as out of nowhere an Xbox appeared. He grinned,"really you could have imagined anything in the world and you choose a game?"

She turned to him with an annoyed look. "Well then how do you make it better?"

He looked back a little perplexed. An Xbox was already cool, but he realized that it wasn't the actual console, it was the game inside. He imagined the actual game with his eyes open, suddenly the entire layout of the room changed.

The white roomed was suddenly overthrown with debris, smoke, and blood. It looked like a war zone. There could be shouting heard, and men in futuristic uniforms ran by with guns.

Edwin turned back to Wendy to see her awe in what he had done. "Nicely done," she said suddenly grinning," Wanna play?"

With that her nightgown changed into one of the uniforms and a gun materialized into her hands. She lifted the gun up, "ready?"

He looked down to see a gun in his hands and a uniform now on him. He started to run with her alongside him, to where he had no idea. He looked to his right and stopped when he saw a monster. It was a god ten feet taller than him, and had six legs. It was made of metal but with pus and blood oozing out of the cracks. Wendy grabbed him and they hid under a door.

"Alright how do we kill it," she asked.

He wasn't quite sure. He looked at the monster which was slowly turning away. He got an idea into his head. "We have to shoot it from behind and under its tail," he said while still thinking.
"Right where that hole is."

Wendy looked at the monster and slowly shook her head. "So we're going to shoot it up its ass. Nice."

And with that she ran out from under the debris. She slowly made her way behind it as Edwin followed her. She motioned him to go ahead of her and he crouched behind a piece of debris, ready to shoot when suddenly...

"Hey Mothersucker, over here!"

He turned to see Wendy waving her arms to distract the monster. It saw her and slowly started coming to her. Edwin couldn't understand why she had done that until he saw how close the monster was coming to him. It was a perfect angle. Slowly he cocked the gun upward, ready to shoot.

The monster came closer and closer, and Edwin closed his eyes and pulled the trigger. He heard the noise, felt the jolt and looked up as the monster exploded, covering him in pus and blood.

"Nice!"

He heard as he saw Wendy come around the debris to look at him. She saw what he was covered in and immediately began to back away. "Yeah didn't expect that to happen," he said laughing.

"Ok, I think it's time to go back," she said. She grabbed his wrist with the metal bracelet on it, and pointed to a red button. "Press this button to wake up."

He pressed the button and everything went black.
