Edwin opened his mouth to scream, but before he could, one of the figures grabed his mouth. Shoving something into his eyes that burn them, he wanted to scream out in pain, but before he could he was whisked away.

He grabbed the mans hand and pulled it off his face. He opened his eyes to total darkness, and as his eye sight adjusted he could see where he was. He was in the field of corn that had just been harvested, making the field bare, outside his neighborhood. He turned around to look at who ever was there.

The Stars were bright, so he could make out the figures size. One was much taller than the other, but the other one had to be only a two or three inches shorter than him. The taller one spoke first,"What did you do today?"

Edwin was so confused at first, but then the man (at least he assumed it was a man) spoke again. "In the library what did you do?"

"I don't know," he exclaimed. He started panicking unaware of what they wanted or what they would do.

"You touched the book, and something happened that shouldn't have. Who are you?"

He was so terrified that his name came out in a hurried whisper," Edwin, Edwin Tomly."

The second person that had been standing next to the man took out a small book. They quickly flipped through the book, then looked at the mans face, shaking their head.

The man started toward him, and Edwin put his hands up in defense. He desperately hoped for something like a wall to be there. There was a loud noise, and Edwin didn't move. He waited for the man to grab him, but nothing happens to him. He looked up and gasped.

The dirt that used to be on the ground had risen into at least a story high. Edwin couldn't explain it, he knew it wasn't there before. He stood under it in wonder before suddenly the dirt wall was gone.

The two people were still there, but now they didn't look threatening at all, just standing there.

"My accomplice here, will meet you tomorrow morning. We will explain everything then."

And with that the man moved his hand and Edwin fell asleep.
