Chapter 4

Samuel's POV

I drive to the pizza place and stop the car.

"So what do you guys want?" I ask, closing the car door.

"Just a supreme will do me." says Xander, I look to Caroline.

"Yeah that'll be good." she adds. I lock the car and walk inside the pizza place.

"What can I get you?" Asks the man at the counter politely.

"One large supreme pizza please." I answer, holding out a $10 note. The man takes the note.

"$2.50 change sir." he says, walking off to prepare the pizza.

"So do you two play any sports?" Asks Caroline.

"I mainly just keep myself fit, Samuel used to be an athlete but stopped awhile ago." says Xander and I turn away, knowing where this conversation was heading.

"Did you injure yourself or something?"Asks Caroline, looking at me. I turn away from her and Xander.

"It's a long story." I reply quietly.

Caroline's POV

"I am sorry I didn't mean to offend you or something." he turned from us.

"Just leave it, Caroline." I looked to Xander and he just shaked his head to me. I didn't mean it I just tried to get to know them better.

"I'll go and find a table for us."  he mumbled then he stormed off.

"Did I asked something wrong?" I ask Xander. His eyes searching mine, probably to find out if I am reliable. He heaved a sigh.

"Long story." I turned and crossed my arms around my chest.

"Yeah right. Are you going to tell me about Caitlyn? Why is she after you? She is older that you is she?" Xander snickered. I have no idea what is going on, but I am getting more curious than ever.

"I already told you long story. You will get it sooner than you think." I turned my head to him. My eyebrows went up."Bring the pizza to our table when it's ready." then he left me there.

I waited 5 more minutes and payed for 3 soda too. They gave me the pizza. It smelled so good. I grabbed some napkin and head after the guys.
They were waiting for me I sat down.

"Here."as I put the pizza on the table and 3 soda. They were so quiet. I sighed and get out my pan from my pocket and started to write lyrics on a napkin.

Samuel's POV

"What are you writing?"I ask, shifting the conversation topic.

"More lyrics."replies Caroline blankly.

"Sorry about before. The reason I stopped playing sport, is while I was away once for running, I got a text from my girlfriend, but it wasn't meant for me, it was meant for one of my best friends, who my girlfriend was cheating on me with for over a year. After that I broke up with her, broke the guy's nose, and stopped playing sport. Mum wasn't very happy that I quit sport, but I still haven't played any sport in over a year."I say quietly, not wanting other people to hear. Caroline looks up with sympathetic eyes.

"That's really rough, I can't blame you." she says quietly. I bite into a slice of pizza, wiping my mouth once I finish chewing.

"Yep." I reply blankly, I still didn't like talking about it, but she deserved an explanation.

Caroline's POV

I really can't blame him, but he needs to stop doing this with himself.

"You need to start to do sport again." I whispered to him. I heard Xander snicker beside him. Samuel eyes snapped to mine and I can see pain in there. My big mouth again. I quickly get up. "I... I... "Yeah they think now I am an idiot. "We should go."I tell them and walk out to their car.

We drove silently home and I don't even wait for them just got out of the car before they can even say something. I know Samuel think it's a good reason to stop the sport but I think it's stupid. But I can't tell him that. I am nobody to him.

It was a really good evening with them. I enjoyed it and I know a lot of things about them already. I run to my new room and close my door.

"Caroline?"I heard Samuel voice from the other side of the door. I closed my eyes. I don't want to talk about my feelings.

"Yeah?"I whispered don't know at all if he heard it.

"You are acting wierd and I've got your guitar. "he chuckles.

"Oh crap."I opened my door and tried to take out from his hand but he didn't let it go. " What now?"I sigh.

"I told you everything, you will need to do the same with me. "what?

"So you are not mad at me that I suggested you should go back to do some sports?"I ask him.

"No not really I heard it before." great. I shake my head at him.

"So? Do you have a boyfriend?" he asks me and pushed himself in my door still not letting go my guitar.

"No. Not anymore."I tell him and sat on my bed. I sigh. "Chris and me broke up before we moved here. " I tell him. "He was a douche. "he sits on my bed beside me.

"Yeah he was. " he chuckled. "Why did you two broke up?" gosh. This is so embarrassing, my father would kill me if he knew. I blushed and looked anywhere else except him. I cleared my throat.

"Um....um... I... I... " God. "We had sex and he broke up with me telling me he just wanted sex." I didn't tell this to anyone not even my best friend. They all think I am still a virgin.
Samuel doesn't answered me. I understand it's a girl stuff. I grabbed my guitar and started to play on it. Sing one of my song.
