Xander's POV

"Well, that was awkward." I mutter to Samuel as we step outside.

"Tell me about it." He mumbles back, strolling tensely towards our 'shared' car's drivers side.

Mum says we can't get our own car because we basically go everywhere together. Although we share it Samuel mostly drives.

I sigh inwardly, before opening the door to the passengers side of our powder-blue Chevy.

"Why did Caitlyn want to meet up?" I question, slightly slumping into the leather seat.

"Who knows.... Probably to see you." He says the last bit under his breath. I glare at him, a frown plastered on my face. He shrugs, smiling.

"What? I didn't say anything." He replies, starting up the car. I frown again, staring in front of us.

"Why does Caitlyn like me?" I groan, slumping further down in my chair.

"It's Caitlyn." He answers bluntly.

"Why can't she like you?" I mumble, returning to staring forward.

Caroline's POV

My room wasn't that bad, it's bigger than my older one. I just need my stuff so I could feel home again. Maybe. Sometimes.

Samuel and Xander runs out from the house when they hear bumping and I hear moaning.
Oh my god. I want to get out from the house too. I pick my guitar up and run after the guys. They wasn't that bad actually. I think they really not that bad. I sigh as I step outside and see them in their car I run to them.

"Please! I need a ride!" they changed a strange look. Samuel nodded to the backseat and I quickly jumped in. "OMG! How awkward was that? Euw! Euw!" I put my hand on my ear, they both turned their head to me, I blushed. Then they started to laugh I grinned like and idiot. Maybe this isn't going to be that bad. I never had a brother before and now I got two. Ugh. There must be something about them. "Where are you going guys? Can you just drop me off at the park?" I ask them. "I need some air." I mumble they don't question me, Samuel just starts to drive. I looked around. I need to know how to get home.

In a couple of days I will start in their school too.
New house.
New school.
No boyfriend. I shouldn't even think about Chris. He is a douche.
New brothers.
I can see a park but Samuel didn't stop.

"What the...?"

Samuel's POV

"What the- what are you doing?" Asks Caroline urgently.

"Relax, you're new here, we aren't going to bail out on you." I reply laughing, this girl was funny I'll give her that. "The way it works with us, is that we are brothers, we fight of course, but we look after each other, we're only a bit more than a year apart. We don't bail out on each other, that's the key. Now if you are part of our family, we won't bail out on you either." I continue. Xander looks back at Caroline.

"He's actually is telling the truth." he laughs.

"Well where are we going?" Asks Caroline, seeming annoyed.

"Well, Caitlyn wants to get with Xander, so if we go there it'll give you a chance to meet Caitlyn and some of our friends, before her and Xander have time together at least." I joke, nudging Xander's elbow.

"Not going to happen. She's older for a start, and plus, I don't go for every single girl that wants me." replies Xander, in his normal, calm but stern tone.

"Wait how old are you guys?" Asks Caroline.

"I'm 17, Samuel is 18."answers Xander.

"So I'll be meeting people my age, cool." replies Caroline enthusiastically.

"Yeah you may as well, after we might go get some pizza."I say back.

"Well I don't want to be in the house anytime soon." adds Xander. We all laugh together as we reach the park. Maybe this new part of our family could be good, I mean, mum does get lonely, and with Xander and I most likely moving out in a few years she will need someone, I hope Caroline's dad does right beside her, and Caroline seems pretty good herself.

Xander's POV

I sigh as we park, Samuel glances over at me, smiling like a small child who ate all the cookies. Frowning, I punch him lightly in the arm.

"Lets just get this over with." I snap,  hopping out of the car, followed closely by Samuel and Caroline. We are greeted by our friends, including Caitlyn.

"Samuel! Xander!" She tightens us both on a excruciating, bear hug.

"Help." I mouth to Eric, one of our friends. He only laughs, pointing at me.

"Hey Caitlyn." Samuel and I reply harmoniously, no enthusiasm what so ever. Caitlyn smiles, twirling her fingers in her hair, staring at me.

'A whole day of this, wonderful.' I though sarcastically.

"Aren't you in luck." Eric snickers, sliding in beside me.

"How rude of us? This is Caroline." Samuel introduces her.
