(I seem to be having abit of a reader block at the moment to keep this story alive and to increase a few more reads im just gonna write a short filler.)
Luna's P.O.V
Jade's asleep and Lewis is no where to be seen. I know Jade doesn't like me leaving in the night i think shes still scared about everything that's going on. as i walk out of the bedroom and down the hallway i meet a little brown rabbit. it doesn't look deformed in any way but i still approach it with caution. as i walk over to say hello it hops away. not with fright i don't think it's even noticed me. 'this must be some sort of game,' i think to myself and bounce after it as it makes it way down the hall.
i head footsteps so i run and hide behind a broken door in the hall until the footsteps grow faint. peering back out into the dully lit space i see the rabbit just about to bounce around the corner that leads to the entrance of the vault itself. i cautiously approach the corner it just went round. Breathing out i gather all my courage before turning my head to peer round the corner. shocked to see no rabbit ignorantly hopping around I pad round the corner into the opening. sending out a small click from my mouth in the hope to attract the rabbits attention, but i hear nothing. i slide across the ground keeping to the shadows, the hairs on my tail on end. my senses suddenly go into overdrive while i search through the darkness looking for the object of fascination.
i suddenly hear a loud bang which makes me scatter back into the darkness, hiding from the source of the noise. Curiosity suddenly gets the better of me though and i reluctatly walk out desperatly searching for where the sound had come from. Out of the corner of my eye i notice a shadow move behind me. Bolting round to see the figure behind i was too late. I see the shaow again on the wall showing that someone is behind me. On the wall the shadow grows larger which tells me they are getting closer. I turn around and hiss at the object now in front of me and hunch my back, unable to see it's face.
"Hey it's OK it's only me!" i recognise Lewis' voice and go back to normal. my furr still puffy from my terrifying experience. He reaches his hand out to me and i give it a sniff. i smell red. i pull away examining the hand and notice splatters of red on his hand and arm and a few drops on his shirt. i look up at his face to see him wiping red off his face and hiding long fangs poking out of his mouth.
"OH SHIT!" i shout and run off back to Jade's room and under the bed for safety.
"WAIT LUNA!" i hear Lewis shout back at me. There is no way i staying there to get eaten i think to myself as i catch my breathe under the bed.
"you ok Luney?" i hear a faint voice like Jade's half asleep voice call out to me, putting my mind at rest. i meow back at her letting her know im ok and i hear her shuffle in her bed telling me she was back asleep. i lie down on the cool floor and all asleep myself.
