Chapter 1

1- My stupid mouth

"Hey Sinda." His voice was as smooth as honey. 
"Hi Gabe."
"You're looking lovely today." 
"As always." He looked nervous. Whatever he was about to say, it was big.
"I was wondering, if  maybe, you'd like to got get some coffee or something with me?"

My heart practically stopped beating and and I felt as though I was falling.  This was the first time he'd actually confirmed that he was interested.

"Um..." We can't be together. "Well." I should say no. "I'd love to!" Stupid mouth.

We walked to the cafe in a thoughtful silence. It wasn't awkward though, it felt strangely natural.

I compiled a list if pros and cons about Venturing down this path with Gabe.

Pro, I love him and I would be willing to do anything for him.

Con, he only likes who he thinks I am. When he finds out that I'm a Vice and everywhere I go people submit to the 7 deadly sins, Gabriel, being the warrior of heaven and protector of all good that he is, wouldn't be able to see past that.

Pro, he makes me feel... Perfect.

Con, if heaven or hell discovered that one of their own had fallen in love with the enemy, the punishment would be, severe. For both of us.

I looked up, startled to find that Gabe was staring at me with curiosity and... Something else I couldn't quite place etched on his face. A deep blush rose in my cheeks. How long had he been watching for?

Then, me being the cults I am, stumbled over my own feet and tumbled towards earth. At the last second Gabe caught me and pulled me back up onto my feet.

"You okay?"
"Yeah. Thanks." My heart flattered, I was sure he could feel it and the blush returned as I stared into his heated gaze. 
"Can't have you breaking anything on our first date no can we?" Date, date, date, date! Oh my god we really were on our first date!!!

He smiled my favourite lob-sided grin that I love as though he could read my thoughts.

We continued down the path.

"You know, maybe you should hold my hand so I don't fall again. Can't be breaking anything on our first date now can we?" I quoted.

He took my hand in his, that lob-sided grin returning. It felt as though his hand was made to fit inside mine.
