Chapter 21- Couple #1

The Next Day

Maddie's POV

I wake up smiling. I take a shower and brush my teeth. I wear a gold and silver tank top and and some black denim short shorts. I'm super happy because my mom said I could die my hair to look ombre and cut it! I soon get a text from Eldon

Eldon- Hey Maddie

Maddie- what's up?

Eldon- nothing much wondering if you wanna go on a date?

Maddie- Sure!

Eldon- cool I'll pick you up at 6:00

Maddie- cool gtg gonna go die my hair ;)

Eldon- Nice! See ya!

I get my backpack and run down the stairs "NOAH!" I shout, "TELL MOM I'M GOING TO THE SALON TO GET MY HAIR DIED AND CUT!!!" "K, SEE YA!" He replies. I grab my hoverboard and move in the direction towards the salon once I get there. I open the door pick up my hoverboard and walk in. "Umm, Hi" I say, "I would like to get my hair died and cut?" "Sure!" The lady at the till said that will be easy since your hair is naturally wavy!" "What color would you like to die it?" She questions. "Well I think I would like it to be really dark brown at the top and then go to really light brown." I reply. "Nice wthinking!" she says. First she washes my hair and then she cuts it. finally she dies it. It looks really cool. "Thanks!" I say, "I really like it!" "No problem," she says, "that will be 15 dollars." "K,' I say fishing in my bag. Next thing I do is go home and text Ariana and Natalie

Maddie- Help! Have date don't know what to wear!

Ariana- be right there!

Natalie- I'M ON MY WAY!

Natalie POV

I grab my plain white hoverboard and race out of my house to Maddie's. I ring the bell and wait. Maddie opens the door frantically. "Nice hair!" I comment "Yeah, Yeah" She says, "Hurry up and get in here I have a date with Eldon and I don't know what to wear!" "Yeesh," I say pretending to be offended"It cant be that bad!" I see Ariana walk down the stairs since she lives across the street from Maddie she obviously got here first.

30 mins later

"Tada" Ariana and I exclaim. Maddie is now wearing a black tank top splattered with glow in the dark neon colors, a matching short loose skirt, and black boots.

Ariana POV

"It's weird and cool at the same time" I say grinning. "Like you!" Maddie smiles. "Get out of the house you have a date!" I scold

Maddie's POV

I walk out of the house and wait on my porch. Shortly Eldon arrives. "Sorry I was late!" He huffs. "The taxi I rented for the night was late!" I groan. "Why are you so angry?" He questions. "You idiot you rented a taxi for a date!" "I was just trying to be romantic!" "You funny" I giggle. "Yay the taxi is here" I shout in delight. We go into the taxi and it drives us to the club 12-16 basically you have to be at least 12-16 years old to go. Once we get there we order some punch it tastes really good! "Thanks for bringing me here Eldon. It's so cool" I exclaim. Soon we are dancing on the dance floor I do 10 pirouettes.

Eldon's POV

I pull Maddie over and she looks really concerned. "Everything ok" She asks. "Yeah" I say, "Maddie Louis will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" "Yes!" She says happily "Now Lauren owes me $15, WOOOHOO!" "You guys bet on us being a couple!" "Wow girls!" "Excuse me!" She says, "Your looking for big trouble Grandpa, and I'm gonna give it to you!". We spend the rest of the night dancing.
