Michael's fists were white knuckled as he gripped the steering wheel tightly. My chemical romance blasted through the speakers. It was the only thing that kept him thinking about things that weren't Luke. However, no music loud enough could drown out all the thoughts.

What if his plane has taken off.
What if he refuses to come back
What if I get there right when his plane takes off.
What if
What if
What
If.

He turned the volume up louder. It kept dying down a little because he was getting constant texts from three people: Luke, Ashton and Calum. But he couldn't stop to text back. He was pressed for time as it is.

He looked at the SatNav on the car windscreen. 5 miles left. He drove even faster, going over the limit by at least 10mph.

At last the airport was in view. He breathed out a little. Luke's plane was due to take off in twenty minutes. Everything was going to be ok. He pulled into a parking space and shoved some change into the pay and display. He then ran as fast as he could into the flight check in area. Several members of staff asked him for his flight number. He just mumbled something about looking for someone. He ran to the check in desk, out of breath and asked the woman working there,
"Has flight 2398 to New York taken off yet?"
She replied, "No, it's just about done fuelling up, passengers will be boarding soon. Why are you on it?"
Michael's breathing suddenly returned to normal again. It hadn't taken off. Luke was still here.

Michael ran from the desk into the waiting area and looked around frantically for the blonde-haired boy. He couldn't see him anywhere. He started to panic again (a/n: literally me) and ran in-between blocks or chairs, looking on the floors just in case he'd fallen asleep, that was something Luke would probably do. Still no blue-eyed boy. Still no Lukey.

Michael sat on an empty chair and ran his hands through his sky-blue hair. Tears began to form in his eyes. He let one roll down his face as he stared out the window at planes being fuelled and taking off and landing. It was strangely calming.

He heard a voice over the loudspeaker say. "5 minutes to boarding and baggage for flight 2398. Passengers please make their way to boarding door 7"

Michael stood up faster than he should've and almost fell over. He started running, again over to boarding door 7. That's where he saw him.

Blonde-haired. Blue eyed. Black skinny jeans. Converse. Holding a coffee in his hands. Walking towards the boarding door.

Lukey.

Michael practically flew over to him, screaming "LUKE. DONT!"

Luke spun around. He thought he heard Michael. He looked around and then saw a familiar blue-haired boy sprinting towards him, shouting his name. He dropped his coffee on the airport floor as Michael practically smashed into him, gripping him into a bone-crushing hug. Luke fell backwards into the wall, Michael falling on top of him, still hugging him so tight he could barely move.

"You cant leave Luke. You can't. You can't. You can't. I love you. You can't leave. I won't let you leave. Please."

Michael uttered the same words over and over again. He was full on sobbing now. He leant over and kissed Luke on his defined cheek and nuzzled into his neck, still crying. Luke stroked Michael's fluffy blue hair, sighing quietly. Does Michael really care about him that much?

Luke knew where his heart belonged. With him.

A quiet voice, Luke's voice said,

"You missed."

Michael looked up, his vision blurry through his tears.

"W-what?" He choked out.

"You missed." Luke repeated quietly.

Luke cupped Michael's face, brushing away fallen tears with his thumb.

He leaned in, and slowly connected their lips together, Michael's slightly damp eyelashes fluttered against his cheek. Michael kissed back gently and passionately against Luke's soft lips. It lasted for what felt like forever, until Michael pulled away and hugged him tightly once more.

"Why did you go away Lukey? Why did you leave me?" Michael murmured into his shoulder.

"I don't know Mikey. I don't know." Tears glistened in his baby blue eyes as he continued to stroke Michael's hair.

"You know I love you right?" Michael whispered.

"I know. I love you too." Luke whispered back.

"So that means you can't leave. Whatever you're going through. I'll make sure you get through it. Whatever it is. I promise. But you can't leave me. At our first show on that tour. We need you. The boys need you. I need you. So please Luke, don't get on that plane. Please." Michael's emotions were pouring out and his heart was breaking at the same time.

Luke took a deep breath.

"Okay."

Michael jumped up and ran around the airport screaming,
"I LOVE LUKE HEMMINGS AND HE'S NOT LEAVING!"
Luke laughed as he got up and Michael ran back into him and picked him up, swinging his 6 foot tall lover around.
He put Luke down and whispered in his ear, "I'm sorry I knocked you over."
Luke giggled, "that's okay mikey"
"So what does this make us?" michael questioned. Luke blushed and pecked a kiss on Michael's lips briefly. Michael leaned in closer to Luke's neck, "Personally," he started, "I'm muke as fuck."
Luke looked at him, and nodded. Then the two boys broke out in a laughing fit. Luke laced his fingers in Michael's and they walked over to baggage to get Luke's bag back. Michael extended the handle on the suitcase as he lifted it off the rack, and they walked out of the airport. Hand in hand.

Michael's phone buzzed again. This time he stopped to pick it up.

"Hey buddy. Yeah I know, I know. Don't worry guys, we're coming home. Both of us."
