"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked Jade, as we walked back into my sister's apartment.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," she brushed me off, sitting down on the sofa. Her head fell back and her eyes shut. I watched as her breathing evened out, and I realized she had fallen asleep. Very quickly.

Laughing quietly to myself, I subsequently made my way into the kitchen, pulled out a mug, and poured in some coffee and creamer. It may be almost two in the afternoon, but it's never too late for coffee.

"Do I smell coffee?" came a voice from the living room.

"I thought you were asleep?" I asked, pulling out another mug.

"I was, but then coffee," she said, walking into the kitchen, leaning against the door frame.

"So, I'm assuming you want some?" I smiled.

"Well, duh," she laughed, walking closer and leaning against the counter next to me.

"Alright well, how do you take your coffee?" I questioned, pouring black coffee into her mug.

"A ton of creamer, and a moderate amount of sugar," she told me.

"Okay, well considering it's two in the afternoon, I'm going to tone it down a bit, that okay?" I looked over to her for approval.

"Reasonable," she commented. "Hey, have you heard of Melanie Martinez?"

"Who?" I looked up, handing Jade her coffee.

"That's it, I'm leaving," she joked. "You know, I'm the cool punk rock one, you're supposed to be the one who's in love with the indie pop goddesses, not me."

"I love indie pop artists!" I argued playfully.

"Oh really?" she tested. "What's Halsey's real name?"

"Ashley Frangipane, easy," I answered without a doubt.

"Who wrote the somewhat-popular-song Dollhouse?" she asked, trying to keep a straight face.

I searched my mind, when it dawned on me, "Oh, Melanie Martinez."

"She's like, my favorite singer, I love her more than Marina!" she admitted.

"Marina and the Diamonds?" I inquired.

"Who else?" she asked, laughing and taking a sip of her coffee.

I nodded, taking another sip. "Hey, do you want to watch something?"

"Sure!" Jade's face brightened. "Movie or show? Because I have some great recommendations for you if you would like to hear them!"

I giggled a little at her excitement. "What do you have in mind?"

She smiled, "Well, there's The 100, Arrow, Orphan Black - oh my god, Orphan Black is so great! There's a nice number of LGBT+ characters, but then there's the whole mystery where one minute you think they've solved everything but then, bam, new stuff happens, it's my favorite thing!"

"Alright, we'll watch Orphan Black then," I agreed.

"Really?" her smile grew.

"Yeah sure, is it on Netflix though?"

"I don't know, but I do have a website that has like, everything," she assured.

"Of course you do," I laughed.

"Wait so, Beth jumped in front of the train, Sarah looked exactly like Beth so she basically stole her identity, but now the other clone who's killing them all knows it's not Beth, but still didn't kill her? Isn't she trying to get rid of all of the clones?" I questioned as we finished off either episode five or six, I had lost count. This show is really complicated.
