"Here's my house," Phig said, gesturing to the small beige house in front of them. "Thanks for following me, I guess. Hey...you've been pretty quiet. Don? Hello?" Phig turned around, but Don was nowhere in sight. "Hmp."

"Phiganon? Is that you?" Phig's mother called.

"Uh, yeah! Coming!" Phig went into his cramped house. At least it was just the two of them. Phig felt bad for the families with lots of children.

"I heard about your friends. I'm so sorry, honey," his mom pulled him into an embrace.

"It's okay. I'll be...okay," Phig said, unsure if his mom believed him.

"Right...well, I've got dinner coming, so just sit and it'll be here shortly."

Phig walked over to the couch, which barely had any legroom before there was the wall with the TV on it. Phig dived into the couch. Pushed up against the back of the couch was one side of the table, and the other side had two chairs. Beyond that, there was a small hallway leading to the two bedrooms. Phig grabbed the remote and started flipping through the channels. All of them were news, except one. It was the countdown to Entertainment. It also showed Entertainment when the time came. Phig personally didn't like Entertainment, because he felt bad for all the guys who were in it. Soon, he'd be one of the people who chose who was going to be in Entertainment. Only a perfect combination of the toughest, weakest, and funniest would do. Of course, he himself could be chosen, but Phig refused to think about that.

Sighing, Phig turned the TV off and went to his room. It was painted purple, like his profession, and there was a bed and desk and chair. All of it was purple. Unlike his mom's room, where everything was green, like her hair. She was a teacher. It was the profession Phig would've liked to have. But, the quiz determined he would be a better Draft sorter, so that is what he'd be. Phig turned to his window.

"What the-"

"Sshh!" Don said from outside. "Could you open this? I don't want anyone to see me."

Phig reluctantly let Don in. She looked around his room.

"You really like purple, dontcha?" she said, raising an eyebrow at him.

"It's the law, Don. Don't you know that?"

"Of course I do. I was just messing with you."

"Yeah...so why are you here?"

"I just wanted to tell you I scored two tickets to Entertainment. I don't like it, and I bet you don't either," she said, winking, "but it'll be the last time to see your friends in person." Don did have a point.

"Alright, I'll go with you. Wait, which section will you sit in?"

"In the Draft sorter's section, of course. Just trust me on this, will you?" Don pleaded.

"Enh...fine. But it better be legal."

"Don't worry your little purple head, Phig. I got it all under control."

Phig was still a little suspicious, but it wasn't all too bad. 'If Don somehow found a way to get tickets with her sketchy hair, maybe she can find a way to save my friends,' Phig thought.

"See you tomorrow in the woods, Phig?" Don asked, moving next to the window.

"Yeah, tomorrow."

"See ya then." Don said, then climbed through the window and ran out of sight. Phig sighed and latched the window back.

"Dinner's here!" his mom called. Phig pulled his purple curtains shut (and probably would keep them shut from now on) and left his room to go eat.

Maybe Don wasn't as bad as he thought?
