Ichigo left the others at the top of the tower while he ran to the bottom. Zuri was angry about staying but she complied with many complaints and arguments, Ichigo just smiled at her kissing her on the forehead then left.
At the bottom of the tower was, Renji, Chad and Rukia all battling against Yammy in his released form. Yammy had a tight hold on Rukia, squeezing her small frame as tightly as he could. Then he threw her to the ground with such force that the pressure prevented Rukia from saving herself.
“Since I’m done with you, I’ll go kill the guy that killed Ulquiorra” Yammy laughed.
“And who might that be?” Ichigo’s voice echoed.
The sand around Rukia cleared to reveal that Ichigo stood in front of her with a certain look on his face that showed a sullen look. It didn’t show someone who had won a fight.
“Ichigo Kurosaki!” Yammy shouted.
“Ichi-go” Rukia mumbled as she stared at Ichigo “Where’s Inoue and Zuri?”
Ichigo glanced at Rukia over his shoulder “Inoue is healing Ishida and Zuri is protecting them just in case, they should be safe there.”
Ichigo then looked up at Yammy glaring at him. Yammy laughed mocking Ichigo; he didn’t believe that he killed Ulquiorra. Ichigo placed Rukia on a broken building making sure she was safe while he launched his body toward Yammy ready to defeat him.
Ichigo kept running backwards so he could lure Yammy away from his friends. Ichigo then place his mask on his face, but the mask was different it held one line going down that eyes that were the colour of blood.
Yammy fell to the floor and Ichigo then jumped away and looked at his hand. He felt different from before. Yammy wasn’t dead, he stood back up and bit down on the building that Ichigo stood, Ichigo jumped away and Yammy stood up.
Ichigo gasped
Yammy laughed “I’m number Zero! Stronger than any Espada”
Then Yammy sent his fist toward Ichigo, it was covered in a Cero so Ichigo place his hands in front of his face and went flying back. Ichigo’s eyes widened as he saw the familiar pink haired girl crouching on Yammy’s head like a cat with her tongue poking out while winking.
“Did you think you could have all the fun, Strawberry?” Zuri giggled.
Then she jumped into the air and slammed her Zanpakuto down on Yammy’s head, she floated in the air as black reiatsu formed around her, she chewed her bottom lip. It was feeding off her emotions. In exchange it gave her more power.
Yammy stood up and glared at Zuri “Zuri Watanabe”
“Hm, seems everyone knows me, am I really that famous here?” Zuri smirked
“You were going to replace me” Yammy spat “When you truly became one of us”
Everyone’s eyes widened even Zuri’s. Then she narrowed her eyes at Yammy. Her eyes turned dark as she forced more reiatsu around her body.
“I will never be one....or you!” She shouted death hanging from her every word.
Rukia shivered. Zuri’s voice felt like death, she felt by hearing her voice her death would be close. Yammy laughed and aimed one of his fists at Zuri. Zuri threw her sword to the ground, it landed next to Ichigo. Ichigo stared at it then back up at Zuri.
“Zuri!” Ichigo shouted, “Do you want to die!?”
Zuri froze, then she glanced at Ichigo, he said her name “Shut up, Strawberry”
