Miho looked out the window and saw the familiar orange hair that belonged to Ichigo Kurosaki. He was running along rooftops trying to find his girlfriend.
“Shorty!” he yelled out, many people rolled their eyes at him since he wasn’t saying her name.
“Zuri-kun!” Inoue yelled out.
Demon Spirit stood on a building and glanced over her shoulder and smirked when she saw Ichigo.
“Why hello handsome” she winked.
Ichigo’s eyes widened as he noticed her eyes and fangs “Set Shorty free!”
Demon Spirit raised an eyebrow “Do you mean Zuri?” she pondered for a moment “No”
Ichigo growled and held onto his Zanpakuto “ZURI!”
Demon Spirit laughed as she heard Ichigo shout her name. As his voice got louder she felt that Zuri’s will was increasing.
“No! Stop!” Demon Spirit yelled panicking.
“Zuri! Come on fight!” Ichigo yelled as he slashed his sword against Demon Spirit’s.
Demon Spirit was fighting back but as Zuri grew stronger her attacks grew weaker, until finally her eyes changed back to the normal sky blue and the fangs disappeared. Zuri looked back up at Ichigo and fell into his arms panting.
“You did well, Shorty” Ichigo smiled down at her kissing her forehead
Zuri’s eyes became droopy and heavy, soon she drifted off into a painless sleep while Ichigo carried her bridal style back to the real world.
Ichigo glanced down at Zuri and noticed the many grazes, cuts and scratches she had across her body, they were all red and oozing out blood.
“I’ll take her back” Ichigo mumbled.
Before Ichigo could enter the gate, shinigami surrounded him.
“Ichigo Kurosaki, let Zuri Watanabe down, she is to be put back in Maggot’s Nest” a man ordered.
Ichigo growled and tightened his grip on Zuri “No!” he roared.
“She has killed over 30 shinigami!” the man spoke.
“It was Demon Spirit” Yoruichi spoke “I will make sure that Demon Spirit is controlled while in the human world”
“We will be keeping a close eye on that girl” Soifon mumbled to Yoruichi, “If this happens again we will take drastic measures”
The man nodded along Soifon and disappeared into the night air, Ichigo stared down at his sleeping girlfriend, it was going to be hard for her to control Demon Spirit and he was going to help in any way he can.

Zuri woke up later in a familiar room, it wasn’t hers, it wasn’t Ichigo’s, it was Urahara. Standing up she glanced around her, she was alone. No-one had come to see if she was awake or not. Then Zuri got a sudden shock and looked at the clock.
“Shit” she yelled running out his shop.
Zuri ran round town till she got to her brothers room, he was stood outside the school looking left and right as he waited for his sister.
“Sorry I’m late Daichi” Zuri smiled apologetically
Daichi looked up at her “You were bein happy wid Ichi so I don’t mind”
Zuri grinned down at her little brother and ruffled up his hair. He really was too cute and kind. If only he knew that his sister was going around killing innocent people. Zuri shuddered and then looked up at the sky. The sun was setting beyond the trees.
Zuri travelled home with the sleeping Daichi in her arms, first day at school can really take it out of a small boy like him. Zuri skilfully opened the front door without waking Daichi and took him straight to his room.
Next she had quick shower and dressed into a tank top and short shorts. Lying on the bed Zuri had her hands behind her head and sighed. She was thinking about what she did in Soul Society.
Demon Spirit was bound to take control again and she wanted to be able to fight back and not harm those around her.
Zuri jumped onto the roof of her house and looked around, the cold air nipped at her skin, making goose bumps rise. A Hollow roared to life in a distance, she transformed and stood up from her previous crouching position and jumped along the buildings.
Zuri held her Zanpakuto in her hands and looked down at it before looking back up at the hollow. She was scared Demon Spirit would take control, and she was scared and worried about Kurai and Kiyoko.
Shaking her head she jumped into the air and slammed her Zanpakuto down on her head. Then she ran off.
