Zuri turned to face Ichigo Kurosaki, her smirk widened as she heaved her large Zanpakuto over her shoulder with ease.
“Don’t go easy on me just because I’m your girlfriend” Zuri chuckled.
Ichigo laughed “Wasn’t planning on it”
Zuri then jumped into the air and slammed her Zanpakuto down against Ichigo’s. She wanted to go all out against him but she was scared that Demon Spirit would take control and kill him.
Zuri felt that Kurai was itching to fight Ichigo for real because he knew how powerful he was. Zuri kept holding back and Ichigo knew she was.
“Zuri, no need to hold back against Ichigo” Urahara called out “In fact, try to kill him”
“Hey!” Ichigo protested.
Zuri nodded and formed all of her reiatsu into one strike, it formed around her sword, making it look like a shadow, then she ran and jumped into the air and slammed it down onto Ichigo’s Getsuga-Tenshou attack, both attacks were as strong as the other so both Ichigo and Zuri were blown away.
That’s when Zuri’s vision started fading, everything was going foggy, and the last thing she heard was.
“Demon Spirit came quicker than I thought” Urahara’s voiced echoed “Let’s hope she will win”
---Inside Zuri’s Mind---
Zuri scanned the place, it was all colour now, opposite her stood a girl that looked identical to her part from a few differences.
The girl had fangs that overlapped her bottom lip along with her eyes making them send shivers down her spine if you were to look at her, the resembled a hollow and her hair was not a light pink colour, it was a dark pink almost red.
“Zuri, we meet again” the girl cackled
Zuri’s eyes narrowed “Demon Spirit” she spat
Demon Spirit laughed “So you remember me?”
“How can I not? You killed over 30 shinigami in Soul Society” Zuri growled tightening her grip on her Zanpakuto
“I didn’t. We did” Demon spirit grinned evilly
Zuri looked around “Where’s Kurai and Kiyoko?”
“Oh, they are here” she laughed “Somewhere”
“Where?” Zuri hissed.
Demon Spirit grabbed her Zanpakuto and pointed it at Zuri “I sealed them in here”
Zuri clenched her Zanpakuto in anger “Fuck you”
Demon Spirit laughed again, she was mocking Zuri. Anger boiled up inside of Zuri as she listen to Demon Spirit and was annoyed at the face that she was mocking her.
“Give me back Kurai and Kiyoko!” Zuri growled her voice hard and cold.
Demon Spirit pondered for a moment “Ahh…no”
“Fine” Zuri hissed her eye twitching “I’ll just have to kick your fucking ass”
Zuri jumped toward Demon Spirit. They both battled it out, both panting but neither one of them wanting to give in and let the other win. Zuri was stubborn and so was Demon Spirit.
The fight seemed to go on forever. Demon Spirit slashed her Zanpakuto across Zuri’s stomach. Zuri recoiled and jumped back-now holding her stomach- she looked at her hand covered in blood and closed her eyes.
“I will save you Kurai and Kiyoko” she mumbled under her breath.
Zuri opened her eyes trying to ignore the pain in her stomach and released her Bankai. Then she jumped toward Demon Spirit, her speed was so increased. Finally she stabbed Demon Spirit in the stomach.
“It ends now” Zuri whispered.
Demon Spirit coughed blood up blood as she looked up at Zuri lazily “I will lend you my power since you’re in control….. for now”
Demon Spirit disappeared leaving Kurai and Kiyoko in her place. Zuri fell to her knees and hugged her them both. Kiyoko licked Zuri’s stomach healing her wound while Kurai just nuzzled her head.
“I thought I was going to lose you” Zuri whispered.
Over the past few months she had become extremely close to her Zanpakuto and felt like they were her sisters and brothers. Like they were almost blood related.
“It’s time for you to leave, Zuri” Kiyoko purred.
“We will see you soon” Kurai mumbled.
Zuri nodded then she felt herself being pulled away.
