Crippled Boyfriend meets Parents

ROXAS’S POV

Axel’s birthday was now a day away and I haven’t gotten a present yet. Which is why I am now walking through shops looking for the perfect present for Axel. That’s when I saw it the perfect present for Axel. I ran right into the shop and bought. I was also able to get the shop keeper to keep it till tomorrow. I smiled happily as I enter my house. “LET ME OUT!!!!” I heard a muffled voice yell. “Nope, no can do. You are to stay their till Roxas comes back” I heard Sora say as I rounded the corner. I smiled at the sight. Sora was out side a closed door sitting on a chair that was leaning against said door. Laughing I said “Sora, you can let him out” “Huh? Roxas your back” Sora yelled happily tackling me to the ground and as soon as Sora was out of the chair and the chair was thrown onto the ground. Axel came plowing out of the once closed room. Once Axel eyes landed on me his face lit up, and he ran well I mean rolled towards me. “Roxas!!!!” I laughed at Axel; sometimes he was such an idiot. I sat down on Axel’s lap smiling once Sora ran upstairs to spend time with Riku. “Sooooo where were you?” Axel asked. “Shopping” I said simply. “For what?” “Not saying” “Fine I can wait, so want to do something” “Something being what Axel” “Let’s go grab a bite” “Sorry Axel, but no” “Aaaawww why not” “Your in a wheel chair and the doctor said you need to rest if you want out of that chair.” “Fine then what is for dinner my love?” “Hhhhhhmmmmm how about your favorite” Axel face brightened and he said excitedly “Chili!!!” “Yep” “Well then to the kitchen” Axel said rolling us down the hall towards the kitchen. As I cooked I stayed seated on Axel lap, and Axel rolled us round to get stuff done. When ever we stopped Axel would kiss and nibble at my neck causing me to moan, and pull Axel in for a short but passionate kiss. I was just finishing up cooking when the door opened up. Me and Axel turned to see who it was, and Sora and Riku ran came down the stairs to see as well. A man with blonde hair and blues, and a women with brown hair and green eyes stood there smiling. “MOM!!!! DAD!!!!” Sora and me yelled. We both ran towards are parents smiling widely as we tackled them in a hug. They laughed and hugged us back “Oh Roxas, Sora. My boys” Mom said happily. Then our little happy moment was broken when Dad asked “Who is that?” “Huh?” Sora and me asked. “Who is the guy in the wheel chair?” Dad asked again. “Oh Mom Dad this is Axel my boyfriend. Axel this is my parents.” My dad gave Axel a glare, and Axel just smiled and said “Hello sorry I’m not really that much to look at I was in an incident a little over 2 weeks ago.” “Oh you poor boy what happened?” My mom asked. “There was an earthquake when me, Axel and a few friends where at the beach. We all got separated though we ended up in a safe area. I was with everyone while Axel was in another safe area. Another earthquake hit taking down the safe area Axel was in. Axel had thrown himself over top of a little girl who couldn’t get out and took all the damage and he was out for a little over a week.” I said. My parents looked shocked at Axel and my mom said “Oh my your the boy I heard about on the news. Your hero” “No I’m not madam I only did what had to be done” Axel said. “You still saved that little girl and all those people” My mom said. “I guess if you put it that way, but again I am no hero.” Axel said. My dad whispered something to mom and mom nodded. “Roxas honey why don’t we get dinner finished up?” My mom asked. “Huh sure” I said and with that me and mom walked off to get dinner finished and Sora and Riku followed. Leaving Axel and my dad alone.

AXEL’S POV

Everyone left leaving me and Roxas’s dad. “Come with me” He said. I nodded uneasy since I have experienced nothing good form fathers. I followed him out on to the porch where he took a seat and I just rolled up beside him. “So your Roxas’s boyfriend?” He asked. “Yes sir” I said quickly like my dear old dad forced me to learn by pain. “When did you happen to meet my son?” Roxas’s dad asked calmly. “A little over 3 weeks ago sir and we got together the same day sir” I said nervous. “Hhhmmmm and why would my son who hasn’t even shown any interest in anyone to date till ypu go out with you” Roxas’s dad said in a knowing why like he knew something. “I’m not really sure how you r going to take what I say but I swear on my life every word is true. You see sir I loved Roxas before I even met him. Me and Roxas knew each other in our past life. We remember our past life because we relive the memories of them in our dreams.” I said. He looked into my eyes searching for the truth and nodded when he saw all I said was the truth. “So your the Axel my son has told me all about” “Huh?” “You see Roxas told me about his dreams and explained he was waiting for you and waiting so he could full fill a promise that was made. And I a prove of you as Roxas’s boyfriend.” my eyes widen in happiness. “thank you sir” I said excitedly. “Just don’t make me regret it” “I won’t sir” “You can stop calling me sir just call me Luke” “Okay si-um I mean Luke” “Let us head back inside dinner should be ready by now” Roxas’s dad ummm I mean Luke said getting up opening the door motioning me inside. I smiled rolling myself inside glad Roxas’s da- I mean Luke ,this is hard, doesn’t baby me because I’m in a wheel car. Inside I saw Roxas, Sora, Riku, Roxas/Sora’s mom all sitting at the table about to start eating. “There you guys are just in time too. I was about to send Roxas to go get you” Roxas’s mom said. “It okay miss” I said rolling myself beside Roxas. Luckily I was tall or it would be hard to eat at the table. “Oh dear call me Sarah” she said smiling. “Uummm okay mi-Sarah” I said smiling back at her. Roxas lean towards me about half way through dinner and whispered. “What did dad want?” “He just check and he approves of us being together” I said back. Roxas smiled widely happy his dad approved. “So were are you staying?” Sarah asked. “Well I was planning on staying home till-” I started to say be Roxas cut me off “He is staying here in the quest room downstairs till his legs are better. So I can make sure he isn’t pushing himself” *that would be good I wonder how long it would take me to heal at home…..probably half a year or never* “Hey, I don’t” I whined. “Ya sure you don’t” Roxas said rolling his eyes.

ROXAS’S POV

I couldn’t help but laugh at Axel as he pouted in reply as did everyone else. “Well I believe we should head to bed it is getting late” My mom said. “Ya Axel why don’tyo u go get settled.” My dad said. With that Axel nodded and rolled out. “Dad?” I asked confused. “Well I heard it is some ones birthday tomorrow…..” ‘Oh yes why don’t we give him a surprise” My mom said. “What really?” I asked hopefully. “Ya but I have a question” “Ya mom?” “What is Axel’s home life like?” “huh? Why do you ask that?” “Roxas, when I talked to Axel he looked like I was gonna hurt him.” My dad said. “What….He never talks about his home life……..He has a younger brother……who is moved out…….” I said confused and shocked. “Sweetie what about his mother?” My mom asked. “She died not long after Axel’s little brother Reno was born.” Riku said. “Oh my…..” My mom said shocked. “His father?” My dad asked. “I don’t know……Axel never lets anyone to his house…..” Riku said. “Well I think we should do a surprise party for him tomorrow.” My mom said breaking the uneasy silence that had seat in. “How?” I asked. “Simple you keep Axel busy till we tell you other wise” My dad said with a smile. “Well then you gonna have to pick up my present for Axel , Dad.” “Sure” After explain where and what it was I slipped off to the quest room Axel was staying in. “Axel” I said as I entered to find Axel sitting on the bed, his wheel chair at the side of the bed, looking lost. “huh….oh Roxas.” Axel said when his eyes landed on me. “You okay?” I asked taking a seat beside Axel. “oh Roxas I can’t stand this” Axel said throwing his arms up and his eyes filling with tears of frustration. “Oh Axel….” I said hating seeing Axel. The one that is always strong for me breaking. I wrapped my arms around him pulling Axel to me and we fell a sleep after a few minutes of laying in each others embrace. I knew nothing to say but I knew Axel understood and found comfort in my embrace as we slept.
