ROXAS’S POV
No this can’t be happening. Anything but this. Please. I had to watch as Axel, Tony, and Danny came barging in. I couldn’t say a thing since I was bond and gagged all thanks to Adam Flynn bastard of the century. “Axel, my son.” Adam Flynn said upon Tony, Danny, and Axel’s entrance. “Your not my father.” Axel snarled. “But my son then why would I have your oh so charming little boyfriend here.” Adam sneered cheerfully as he yanked me out from the shadows and into him with a resting is knife dangerously against my throat. I could tell seeing me bond and gagged as with the knife where it was; was making Axel’s temper explode. “Let him go. This is only between you and me. No one else.” Axel snarled. “Well well then how about a little proposition?” What no. Axel don’t you dare make a proposition with this bastard. I thought. “What is the details of this proposition?” Axel asked totally ignoring Tony and Danny tensed up. “Your marine and cop buddies take little old Roxas here out of here leaving me and you alone.” Adam said. NO. I can’t let Axel even think of doing that. I started to struggle against Adam. Seeing that struggling was useless I stopped and tried to convey with my eyes to Axel not to dare do and leave me. Though knowing Axel being as protective as he is of me was in no way going to allow me to stay with his bastard of a father no matter the cost, and that was what worried me the most. “Very well, Adam just allow me to speak to Roxas before I send him on his way.” Axe; said with a sigh. No! Though as soon as I felt Adam slicing off the gag I immediately started screaming and pleading at Axel. “AXEL!!! No don’t. Please don’t do this.” “I’m sorry Roxas, love, Roku, but in order to save you, Tony, Danny, and Aideen from harm I must. Forgive me for being so selfless and protective. I love you and nothing can change that.” Axel said struggling to remain calm and not to burst into tears. Though I, myself, lost that battle and tears went pouring down my cheeks. “Aku. I can’t lose you again. Not when I just found you. Please no.” I sobbed out panicked. “I love you, Roku.” Axel said. Though that was when it happened. I felt Adam move shoving me aside harshly as he whipped out a gun leveling it at Axel. With no time for any of us to react fried with a loud BANG and a following deadening THUD.
No, no, NO!!!!!!! Adam just started laughing as Tony launched himself at Adam in anger totally forget about the firearms he had in his blind rage. While Danny freed me from my bonds. Once I was free I scampered over to Axel’s down form. “Axel?” I asked out shaky reaching out to gently shake him. Getting no reply I shook a bit harder. “AXEL!? AKU!? LOVE!? Please wake up!!” I begged harder as the pool of red liquid started forming around Axel and the blood soaking into my clothes. Still nothing and looked like he wasn’t breathing any more. “AXEL. DON’T LEAVE!! PLEASE I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT!!! NOT AGAIN!!!!” I screamed out sobbing uncontrollably as I launched myself into Axel’s unresponsive cooling body burying my head into his cold bloody chest. Nothing else mattered. Time moved no more for me.
NO ONE’S POV
Adam was able to force Tony off him bolting forwards past a shocked Danny and towards the grief ridden Roxas and Axel’s body. Tony yelled out “ROXAS!!! LOOK OUT!!!” but the blonde would hear nothing in his depression. Enabling Adam to easily shove Roxas away from Axel’s body. “NO!” Roxas yelled out as he was shoved away and Adam then to the shock and anger of everyone grabbed hold of Axel’s body. Not even giving them a chance to stop him hauled Axel’s body up over his shoulder and bolted out. “NO” Tony yelled out moving to quickly follow with Roxas stumbling up with Danny following close behind. Upon Adam bolting out Aideen immediately started shooting at him though Adam moved quick and she had to try hard not to hit Tony, Danny, Roxas, or even Axel not able to bring herself to shot a friend new or old. Turning a corner Adam Flynn along with Axel’s body vanished from site. Realizing that A Axel was dead, B it was Axel’s own father that did it, C it happened again all because he was once again protecting Roxas, and D he would now never get a proper burial crushed Roxas.
Tears refused to stop following down Roxas’s face even as hours later as Tony drove Roxas back home. Knowing their friends needed to know and Roxas needs all the support he could get to be convinced to continue on. Since all Roxas did since they had to give up the search was cry out silently or in loud heart wrenching sobs just staring at the items Axel had given to Tony to give to Roxas should this happen. “Roxas, Axel wanted you to have these.” Tony had said to Roxas when he handed the items over, and that was probably the only time Roxas truly listened fully to what Tony had to say as he snatch the items tightly to his chest. There would be no funeral since there was no body and that was what made it all the more harder on Roxas since he couldn’t give Axel the peace he deserves.
SORA’S POV
“Riku!!” I shrieked out as Riku started to tickle me. “No! haahhaaha! Stop!” I laughed out. “Never! You have to say it.” Riku said not stopping his tickle assault. “NO! hahaha” RING!!! Riku stopped at the sound of the door bell. “You expecting anyone Sora?” Riku asked helping me up. “No, not that I know of.” I said confused as I made my way to the door with Riku following close behind. What meat our site behind the door was something I wished I never had to see. There barely standing there beside Tony was Roxas wearing clothes drenched in blood, clutching a thick journal and small black box to his chest sobbing out. “ROXAS!! Oh MY GOD!! What happened?” I gasped out in shock. What on earth could have happened to make Roxas like this. I though gently leading Roxas inside and onto the couch. What came out of Tony’s mouth was something I never wished to hear in my life. “Axel’s dead.” No. OH Roxas. I though horrified as tears fell down my face. Almost immediately I pulled Roxas to me cuddling him as he sobbed harder at the confirmation of Axel’s death. I felt Riku wrap his arms around us both and bury his face in my hair. I could tell he was fighting not to sob out at the news of the death of his best friend almost brother. We all have to be strong now and help Roxas live on.
NO ONE’S POV
Far away a pair of eyes snapped open with a pain gasp.
