Edit roughly 4 hours after the update: The moment I decided to post the chap, around the same time wattpad decided to start going crazy and it wouldn't let anyone post a comment. Now that the problem has finally been resolved, please do comment your thoughts and opinions on the chap and make me happy for I'm in a sour mood to have not been able to read the initial comments </3
Short chapter but a quick update! :) Dedicated to @Ruyaa12 because I've been meaning to do so from the time I read your comment about the friend you lost at the hands of cancer. May Allah unite you two in Jannah <3 And also because, I loved your prediction of Bilal's future actions that you stated in the last chapter :)
"Women impure are for men impure and men impure are for women impure; and women of purity are for men of purity and men of purity are for women of purity: these are not affected by what people say: for them there is forgiveness and a provision honorable."
[Qur'an]
Chapter 15:
He's Beyond Mind's Imagination
Content and crestfallen were two states of mind that many people experienced at different stages of life. It was the rule of life that one had to witness the storm before the skies cleared and the sun spread its warmth.
Most of the people, by the time they reached their youth, understood this happy and sad scale of life and even swayed to its rhythm. In rough times, whilst holding to the good memories, they drew motivation from the fact that nothing was permanent. However, there were few souls like Dina who were, time and again, tested with periods of restricted felicity.
This was the state of incomplete happiness. While people had their share of happy and sad times, this phase of restricted felicity meant life would not decrease its share of tough times on you, but even when you were bestowed with happiness, there had to be situations that marred it.
And this was the state Dina was experiencing after the events of yesterday. She had been beyond ecstatic earlier, but now, her heart thudded in her chest every time her phone rang, almost certain that anytime she'd get a call from Naila or her mum, and they'd call off the wedding. While Tabasum and Simran tried to assure her that in sha Allah, nothing of that sort would happen, only she had been a witness to Bilal's expression when he had spared her a momentary glance before turning his back on her.
That look, and the expression on his face, was enough for Dina to conclude he had misunderstood her.
If he were to rely on only what he saw, without giving Dina the benefit of doubt, no one could possibly stop things from going downhill. However, a part of Dina believed that the minimum Bilal would do was to hear her side of the story before taking reckless decisions. But then again, both of them did not exactly know each other, so could he blamed to refuse to marry a girl who seemed to be having an affair with her cousin?
Dina cringed as she the thought struck her, despising Tabrez more than ever, if that were even possible.
However, as she looked at it now, Tabrez was perhaps just a pawn that was used to show Dina she could never be completely happy in life. As if Rashida's attitude towards her wasn't enough, she was met with yet another curve ball.
Massaging her forehead with her fingers, Dina sighed and decided it was best to stop thinking if she wanted her headache to subside. She forced her legs to move towards the desk which contained all the children's file as she busied herself in work. Dina had started the year with eight children, and with Umaiza and Amreen being defeated at the hands of pediatric cancer, she was left with six. However, Lateef was being shifted to another hospital to start rigorous chemotherapy while Karan was moving to another state because his parents were losing faith in the hospital's techniques to deal with a case like him, so that left her with only four children.
