Muslim (2202) narrated from 'Uthmaan ibn Abi'l-Aas that he complained to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about pain that he had felt in his body from the time he had become Muslim. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: "Put your hand on the part of your body where you feel pain and say 'Bismillaah (in the name of Allaah) three times, then say seven times, 'A'oodhu bi 'izzat-illaah wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajid wa uhaadhir (I seek refuge in the glory and power of Allaah from the evil of what I feel and worry about)."
Al-Tirmidhi (2080) added: He said, I did that, and Allaah took away what I had been suffering, and I kept on enjoining my family and others to do that."

Chapter 32:
The ocean in her eyes
"Ishaq! The cheesecake won't set if you keep opening the fridge," Dina laughed as her little brother peeked into the refrigerator for the fifth time in the past fifteen minutes.
"Oh Ho!" He replied in his usual style, bumping his forehead with his palm. "But I'm only checking!"
"And while you were checking, who ate that cherry on top?"
"But it looked so yummy, Di," Ishaq replied with a guilty grin and Dina couldn't help but pinch her brother's cheeks.
"Let's watch Tom and Jerry while this sets, ok?" Dina offered instead, knowing all too well that half the cheesecake would disappear even before setting, if Ishaq reminded in kitchen any longer.
Since the offer was of his favourite cartoon, Ishaq willingly agreed as the two siblings watched the show together.
That afternoon, Dina had come over at her mum's place although she wasn't entirely pleased. She had informed of her pregnancy on the phone but Bilal had suggested she visit her mother, and despite everything, Dina had considered it to be a nice idea.
Breaking news: It wasn't a nice idea.
Although Rashida had acknowledged her presence and offered lunch, not once did she congratulate her or bring the topic of Dina's pregnancy. If anything, she looked upset that after all that Dina had done to Tabrez, she was now having a child with Bilal. No, this wasn't the conclusion that Dina had drawn on her own, she had realised the fact when she had found Rashida staring at her and then, heaving a dramatic sigh, she had said,
"I pity Tabrez when he gets to know about this sad news."
Dina had stared at her mother in surprise, wondering if Dina's pregnancy disappointed her, while the lady had simply excused herself saying she had a 3 p.m. appointment at the parlour.
Now, as Rashida entered home, carrying some food bags, Dina had half a mind to walk out from the room. However, the bags in Rashida's hand piqued her curiosity and even before she could question, Rashida said,
"Your father is so delighted over the fact that he's becoming a grandad, he wants to call Bilal over for dinner today."
If that was meant to make Dina happy, then no, it didn't serve it's purpose. She absolutely abhorred seeing Bilal in her house, and the reason for it was nothing but Rashida herself. Her sarcastic remarks and rude actions seemed to be in action mode the few times Bilal was over and Dina did not need a repeat of those scenes.
They were husband and wife, knew each others secrets, lived with each other, but as in every relationship, there were some things that were still regarded as different entities. One of which was the behaviour of one's family towards their spouse.
