Edit 2021: If you're a re-reader, you'll notice the land that Bilal visits has been edited and is now fictional in name, mostly because there are so many across the globe who face this reality and it's wise to not mention a specific region.
The picture above is of the dress described in the chapter stitched by a very beautiful and loyal reader ♡ Allahumma barik laha :")
While writing this chapter, there came a time when I found it too difficult to continue writing and at 36% battery, I promised myself I'll write till my phone battery dies and then go to sleep. You all must have prayed really hard because at 1% charge remaining, here's the update. This is going to be my last update until Ramadan. Do make the most of the blessed month and remember the Ummah in your duas.
Happy Reading :)

Chapter 37:
A man too good for the world
Motherhood.
If a person was given a dictionary and asked to write an essay on it, he'd still run short of words to describe it.
Dina knew that motherhood was a beautiful phase and as much as she was enjoying it, there was no denying of the work that went behind trying to accommodate the new member.
Just a few days and Dina felt like her life wasn't her own anymore. She had to literally organise every activity around the little baby and it was slightly more difficult than she thought.
It included sleepless nights, irregular eating habits, no time to shower and a lot of nappy changing.
Oh and not to forget, dark circles had become the new fashion trend.
Despite all of it, along with Bilal, Shabana and other family members, the hectic part of it aside, alhamdulilah, Dina was enjoying it.
Even a week after Anam was born, they continued to stay in Jawed's house. It was only after her aqeeqah party that they went back to their apartment.
Anam's Aqeeqah party had been a wonderful affair. Dressed in a blue frock and a matching hat, half the people who saw her said she looked like her dad while the other half said she was a carbon copy of her mother. Considering that Anam had her black eyes, her pointed nose and a similar skin tone, it was fair to say Bilal and Dina's first child really did go on her mommy.
And really, Bilal wasn't complaining. He was ecstatic, actually.
Now, as Dina walked out of the shower and was just about to call for Bilal, she bit her tongue for she was met with a sight that was so glorious that it almost hurt.
After Bilal had come home, she had handed over the little baby to him and promised to be back in a few minutes after a quick shower. However, as she walked out, she was surprised to see that he was sprawled on the bed with a sleeping baby beside him, his index finger wrapped in her entire hand.
Smiling at the picture perfect image, Dina noiselessly walked to the bed, removing his tie, opening the first few buttons of his shirt and carefully putting his socks in the laundry box, she flicked off the lights and joined her little family on bed.
