Dawn's Pov

Today was Wednesday. (I dunno cuz I said so) Ruby had work, like usual. After getting Salad ready for school I invited Pebble over to the house for a while. I had made coffee and we were having a wonderful chat about behavioral problems of Salad when there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it," I say setting my drink on the coffee table and getting up to answer the door. When I open the door I see someone who I know is familiar but I can't put my finger on who they actually are.
"Dawn?" She of brown hair and hazel eyes asked.
"Yeah? Wait how do you know who I am?" I say.
"We went to college together. I dropped out before senior year though,"
"Haley?" I ask. She nods smiling. I wasn't totally sure why she was at my door 7 years later but okay.
"Wait... I thought Ruby lived here..." She said looking slightly confused. Clearly she wasn't here Senior year when I started going out with Ruby.
"He does," I say trying not to laugh.
"Then... Why... Are... You... in... His... house?" She asked kind of confused.
"It's my house too..." I said. Inside of me, I was laughing as hard as hell. It took me this long to remember this chick. She's the girl who wanted Ruby so bad since like forever. She's not coming in my house. I never particularly liked her, she wasn't terrible, but she was like obsessed with him even when he was just my friend it bothered me. I don't know, personal space is nice, and she didn't give me enough.
"...what..." She, at this moment, had the greatest blank stare in the world. It killed me a little and I could tell it killed Pebble who was watching from the living room. She was laughing into her hand, but I still heard her.
"I'm pretty certain you heard me," I say back in the least sassy tone I could manage while I was being sassy.
"So... You... Live... With him?" She asks. I nod. "So he's here now?" She asks.
"He works," I answer.
"Oh yeah I should have known that! I'll wait here until he's back!" She says and starts to walk in.
"Nununununu!" I say quietly. "Aw shit..." I sigh as she comes into my house. I stop in the hallway where pebble can see me and I shoot her a look. And she nods like she gets what I'm trying to say even though I really don't know. Well she's in my house so I have to treat her nicely...
"Haley that's Pebble if you remember her I don't know," I say
"Or May," pebble says knowing everyone knew her by that name.
"I kinda remember," Haley says.
"Good," I say going back into the kitchen to get myself more coffee. "Haley do you want some coffee?" I ask being polite to my unwanted house guest.
"Sure Dawn," she says so I grab her a cup. It was nearly 2:45 so I was hoping the bus would come soon. I placed the coffee down in front of Haley.
"Pebble do you want me to get them from the bus stop?" I ask.
"Sasuke is getting Sarada today but you'll need to get Salad," Pebble answers.
"Who?" Haley asks and I ignore her voice.
"So I should do that now," I say "be friendly," I say and go over to the bus stop and talk friendly with Lindsey and Sasuke. The bus arrives and Salad gets off.
"Hey Mommy," she says as she walks over to me she pulls out a mango.
"Don't. You. Dare." I say and grab her arm.
"Ugh," she rolls her eyes.
"I know this isn't the greatest parent thing, but we have a house guest, who I hate. So 20 bucks says you behave yourself and act civilly liek you think Nicole would."
"That's a deal," she says.
"I pay you after, you fail, no pay," I add.
"Fine," she says and we walk into the house.
"I'm back!" I announce and help Salad take her coat off and put it back in the right spot.
"The fuck mom?" Salad whispers.
"Ahaha another comment like that no money," I whisper back. She pouts and stops to walk back into the kitchen as I follow her.
"Hey," Pebble says when I walk in.
"Hey!" Salad says happily. I was so shocked how nice she sounded. Maybe I should offer allowance for her to behave herself. Salad takes something from the pantry and pours herself a bowl. THE FUCK?! I thought she was stupid! Is she some kind of evil genius? I suddenly like her more. She sits down at the table and starts eating and doing her homework. Pebble was totally shocked of what she was watching.
"Oh yeah Haley, that's my daughter Salad," I say.
"Salad?" She asks. "What kind of name is that?"
"That's R00D! Let her name her own kid!" Pebble says.
"Ok... Then I guess," she says. And then we continue on our boring talk about what Haley did after she left the college, though it was to none of my concern it wasted the time closer to when she GOT HER ASS OUT OF MY HOUSE!

It was finally 5 o'clock and Ruby was finally home. I watched his car pull up in the drive way. As he opened the door Haley stops talking and got up and walked over. The look on Ruby's face was priceless when he saw her. It somewhat reminds me of Golds face when he sees Ruby.
"HI!" She says really excitedly.
"Umm hi..." Ruby says back. She walks over to him about to hug him. I was totally unamused but didn't have any idea of what to do. Or let alone what I was suppose to. Then all of a sudden Salad comes flying down from the stairs and jump kicks her in the mouth taking her down to the ground.
"What the eff?" She says getting herself up.
"NO!" Salad says. I've never before been this proud of my psycho child.
"What did I do?!" Haley asks.
"DON'T TOUCH MY DADDY!" She yells. The next thing anyone knew was that my 6 year old daughter was beating the crap out of this person I hardly knew with mangos and her bare hands. The next thing I knew is she has a knife and was stabbing her repetitively in the chest.
"Do we stop her?" Pebble asks.
"I'm not getting between Sally (Ruby calls her Sally cuz he said he wanted to so yeah don't get confused) and a knife," Ruby says.
"Me either," I say, "let the kid go until she thinks she's done."

"What do I do with the body?" Salad comes up to us and asks.
"Throw it in the dumpster behind Gold's house," Ruby says.
"Okay Daddy!" She says and walks off with the blood covered body out of the house.
