Wanted to let this story go out with a bang... it deserved another chapter.
Lauren's Pov
As it had come to my attention recently, things have been too calm. Sean and I have allowed Salad and Dylan to run around killing whomever they like for the last year. And as every chapter starts, we were in the living room -- Sean, Pebble, and Bitchy Bri that is.
We were casually enjoying a nice cup of coffee (or tea if you're Sean) and sharing pleasant conversation about our children. Only Bitchy Bri didn't say much as she didn't have any kids because Pebble was literally the only person left who liked her, so it was no wonder she wasn't married.
"Oh Sarada has been so moody lately! Who know the teenaged years would get the best of her!" Pebble shakes her head.
Sean takes a sip of his tea and nods saying, "unfortunate, it's been a week since either of us have seen Salad."
"It's slightly sad," I nod, "but at least we know she's growing up."
Bri and Sophie whisper amongst themselves for a brief moment giving Sean and I the were talking about you look.
Bri clears her throat and announces "That's such bad parenting. Salad is only 13 and you're letting her and that scratching Dylan kid run around killing everyone."
I look at bitchy bri completely appalled. I never liked her, but how dare she come into my house and insult my ability to parent. I set down my coffee and hold my head high.
"Bri... I think it's completely out of line that you come into MY house, and try to correct my parenting skills. Especially since you're not even a parent," I reply with my best maturity.
Sophie decided to speak and says, "I do think it's inappropriate as well. You're basically raising a murderer and you're completely condoning it."
Now Sean's mad too because Sophie is OUR FRIEND. She's supposed to side with us. We weren't gonna have that.
"Sophie how about you raise your kid, and we'll raise our," Sean suggests diplomatically.
"Gosh! You guys are always like this! You can't accept that anyone else has input on something!" Pebble complains rudely.
"Well duh, because you're trying to tell us how to raise our kid. That's our business not yours," I replied with sass.
"But that's not the problem! You just never listen to my advice! If Tyler came from next door and told you the same thing you'd listen to him!" She complains in rage.
I laugh under my breath. I can't remember the last time I took Tyler's advice. Seemingly these days his only advice is "leave Sean, you know he's not into you, he with me!" And that just ain't gonna happen man.
"What are you even saying? We always listen to you," I say calmly, "you just sometimes have bad advice."
"It's not you," Sophie glares at me. "It's you're darling husband." She rolls her eyes.
"Me?" Sean asks almost spitting his tea all over the new rugs. I was really scared for the rugs. They were expensive. "What did I do?"
"Everything!" She yells slamming her coffee on the table and spilling it all over my rugs. Little bitch. "You always treat me like Im not good enough to hang around you and Lauren anymore!"
Sean is clearly shocked and doesn't know how to answer. "Gosh, well I'm sorry I made you feel that way. I got a new promotion and works been making me awfully busy but I've been trying to spend time with everyone still."
