I had fallen in love, with this beautiful werewolf girl…. “Not yet.”

“I’m sorry. Do you want to know about the rest of the pack?”

“No not right now, everything is sinking in.”

“Alright.”

We sat in silence for a little while.

“Could I meet the pack?” I asked.

She smiled and said “I could probably arrange for that.”

“Really? That would be amazing. I would love to meet Lea, and to see John again.”

“I know I can tell.”

We talked a little longer, nothing about wolves. It was mostly about me, and I was kind of uncomfortable with that. She must’ve seen that because then she switched to books. I could’ve talked to her all night but then I looked at the time and it was 3:05 a.m. My parents would be home soon.

“Could we hangout later today? My parents will be home soon.”

“In a few minutes actually, I can smell them. I should go.” Bella Ly said. I lead her to the door. She was about to take the sweatshirt off but then I said “Just keep it, later today I’ll get it.”

She was standing in the door way and I was just looking at her, her eyes were brown. I guess that meant calm or relaxed, at ease. I wanted to kiss her, I had just met her though, that would surely be stepping over boundaries.

“Well, good morning.” I said smiling about to close the door when she turned to leave, but she turned and then suddenly kissed my cheek. I felt my cheek burn, not in a bad way, in the sort of way you get butterflies in your stomach when you’re happy. Then she ran in the trees and I went upstairs to my room and collapsed on my bed.
