Chapter 12: Bella Ly

The day that I brought Alec to meet the pack went somewhat well. I got him out after we finished hunting, I didn't want him to see me so vicious. I was filled up so I wouldn't be thinking about killing him I shifted. It started off in the very start of dawn. Lea had awoken me from my peaceful slumber, which I usually don't receive. I was having a dream about Alec, the way his cheek felt against my lips made me smile. The dream was of both of us in the forest where we first met. He was the naked one this time, and his body was gorgeous. I mean obviously I'd never seen him without clothes, but that didn't mean I couldn't fantasize.

"Bella Ly..." he started.

"Alec what happened?" I said, in awe of his body.

"You bit me remember?"

"No... no that isn't possible. I screwed up your life." I stammer. Tears starting to well up in my face. Alec steps towards me and grabs my waist. I'm looking up into his brown eyes. My body is right against his, it's so warm.

"You biting me, was the best thing that you could've done."

"How can you say that? I repulse myself."

"I can be with you, forever."  That's when he pressed his lips against mine. "I love you Bella Ly."

Lea shook me and I returned to the real world. "Get up, it's time to go hunting."

I undressed but I said to Lea. "Could I invite someone over later?"

"Who?"

"Alec, the boy I like."

"He knows about us doesn't he?"

"Well yes, but he isn't going to tell anyone. He doesn't have friends. He also doesn't smell like the people I've told in the past. We won't have to kill him, and if we had to get rid of him, couldn't we just make him into one of us?"

"Isabella! Do you know how selfish that would be!? I would rather kill him then turn him into one of us."

"He wants to meet the pack. He's curious, and good hearted and I like him."

"We'll see how hunting goes. If it goes well I'll decide from there."

"Thanks." So I finished unchanging, went outside into the cold air and shifted.You never really truely get used to the pain. It is after all the changing of your bones.

The hunt was fun. I loved to hunt. I was with my pack, and it was as if life should just be this, hunting along side with loved ones. Chase is my hunting partner when there are large animals to take down. He has a blonde coat and his blue eyes sparkle. He's fast! When I first became a wolf, I was faster than anyone. That changed after I got used to it. It was this amazing feeling being able to be the fastest wolf in your pack. Anyway, there was this large buck, Chase and I flanked the buck, and I lunged. I gripped the buck's neck and it made a cry for help. Chase and I found the rest of the pack, and we all devoured it.

When I brought Alec to Lea's house, everyone was inside, except for Natalie. She still felt guilty for turning John. I introduced Alec to everyone. John was running late, he was outside in his workshop doing whatever he does. Jeremy is Lea's partner, he's tall with a hard face, and green eyes. He's very nice but has his temper. Alec looks scared of Jeremy. Lea was sort of rude to Alec. I knew she didn't want him to know, but she could've been more polite to our guest. Zach and Kit were mates. Zach was our "class clown", he loved just goofing around, and like Kit, he enjoyed being a wolf more than a human. Zach had red hair with freckles and moles all over him. Kit is our "goth chick". She has all black hair and her eyes are dark brown, but when the light hits them they look purple. Jay and Alec seemed like they hit it off. Chase was very polite and formal.

Then John walked in with Natalie at his side. Alec's face lit up and John stopped as soon as he saw Alec. Natalie stiffened and started shaking, that meant she was going to change, and that wasn't good. Her head started twitching back and forth, and she fell on all fours. Her hands and feet were spreading apart. The thing about Natalie is that she never yells when she's shifting, she stares at a focal point and just shifts. Alec couldn't look away from the sight of Natalie's shift. He was holding his breath. Natalie then pounced at Alec.
