~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Three Years Ago~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up in a basement my hands tied behind my back, my feet tied to the legs of a chair, my mouth taped closed with duct tape. I scream as the events of what happened replay in my head.
I was walking to Alex and Jake's house when I was tapped on the shoulder. I take my headphones out and turn to see who it was half expecting to see Nick. When I turn though I am greeted by a large man in a black shirt and blue jeans. He has blue eyes and white skin. The face of this man is a face I will not easily forget.
“Can I help you?' I ask trying my best to hide the fact that I’m frightened. I look around hoping that I could find someone that would help me if something went wrong.
“Get in the car!” the man practically yells nodding towards a black jeep. I look at him now terrified and shake my head no. “What do you mean no!” the man yells.
“I mean I can walk thanks for the offer though.” and I turn away to walk very fast. No I’m not stupid I know he wasn’t offering me a ride. The next thing I know something hits me very hard in the back of the head and I'm being lifted into the jeep. Then I woke up here.
I scream again but it is useless no one can hear me. I hear someone start to walk down the stairs and I look eagerly hoping they will help me. When I see the face of the man who had told me to get in his car tears threaten to spill but I blink them back.
“Hello.” the man says kneeling down next to the chair and harshly ripping the duct tape off of my mouth. I yelp but compose myself quickly. Dad always told me if I ever found myself in this situation don’t give the sick bastard the pleasure of seeing my pain.
“Stephanie, is it?" he asks and I just really want to spit in his face but instead I say "Yeah, why, what’s it to you?" and his large hand smacks down on my face making me wince in pain.
"You won’t talk back now next time will you?" the man yells spitting all over my face. I gag at the smell of the saliva mixed with alcohol and nicotine. Which earns me a glare. I have to say I'm surprised when he didn't hit me again.
"Now, do you want something to drink?" the man says through clenched teeth and I don't have a chance to answer before a plastic water bottle is put in my mouth and I am forced to drink it.
"Can you untie me please?" I ask  after he takes the bottle away from my lips "I swear I won't try to run." I was being honest I was to afraid to run and I was beginning to panic without being able to use my hands.
He looked like he was thinking it over then finally he said "Only because you asked so nicely but, I swear if you run I will kill you without thinking twice. We wouldn't want that to happen now would we?" I don't answer because I thought the question was rhetorical but then his fist collided with my nose and he yelled "Would we?"
I let out a sob. My nose is broken for sure and the blood is pouring into my mouth making it difficult to breathe. "No, no we wouldn't." I manage to croak out.
"Good so we're on the same page." the man says while walking around me to untie my hands. Once my hands are free I immediately pull them in front of me and inspect my wrist, then I touch my lips which are still burning from when he ripped the duct tape off my mouth. I wipe the blood off my my  upper lip which was a wasted at as more blood comes out of my nose. He comes around and unties my feet.
"Thank you." I say in a whisper. I can't believe I just thanked him for untying me if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be tied up in the first place. The sick son of a bitch knocked me out on the side of the street and put me in his car! He tied me up and now I'm sitting in his basement.
