* Christmas Day *

I wake up at around 9:30 and groan the thought of getting up. I didn't feel any better. I was already missing the comfort of Shawn and I don't want to have to explain everything to Harry.

I grab my phone and immediately text Shawn.

'Merry Christmas!!<3'

He replies back within 30 seconds.

'Merry christmas babe'

The word "babe" makes me smile.

I put up my phone and sit up to head to my bathroom. After showering and changing I ring Harry.

"Merry Christmas baby!!" He says as soon as he answers.

"Merry Christmas Harry." I smile.

"I'm almost done getting ready and I'm about to leave for the airport."

"Yay! Meet me at gate C."

"Okay. See ya there."

"Okayyy bye love you."

"Love you too." I hang up and set my phone on my bathroom sink counter.

I wore a loose cardigan over my casual red dress to cover the cuts on my wrists. I sigh and head out the door when it was time.

When I got to the airport I made my way to gate c. I tried to get myself in a better mood but that won't happen until I see Harry's face.

I feel my phone vibrating in my shaking hand and I pull it up to my ear.

"Hey."

"Hey Alice I'm walking right now. What about you?"

"Same almost there."

We kept talking until I see him through the crowd.

"HARRY!" I scream, hanging up and running towards him. I jump and he picks me up, hugging me as I wrap my legs around him. I bury my face into his neck and he kisses my head. I hop down and kiss him passionately. I pull away, out of breath, and whisper "Wow I missed you."

"I love you so much." I say, hugging him.

"I love you too princess."

From running and being in the middle of a crowd made me feel really hot so I pulled up the sleeves of my cardigan, it's like an instinct, and immediately regret it.

"Oh my god...Alice..." He whispers, putting his hand to his mouth.

I feel like crying. I just feel like bursting out crying. For a long time. It's like every time I needed to let it out, I had to hold the tears back. I just want comfort. A lump grew in my throat and I found it hard to swallow.

"Are you okay what happened?" He asked. I just stood there, shaking.

"I-I'm sorry." I say, bursting out crying, leaning into him. We stood there for like a minute, letting me cry into his chest.

"Let's sit down and we can talk." He says, letting go of me. We find a bench and I sit down, looking him in the eyes.

"My mum's not here. She's gone. She left last week and I-I just d-didn't know w-when to t-tell you..."
She stopped and sniffled then continued. "My dad didn't pay the mortgage and now we lost our home and my mum got mad and left. They're getting a divorce and we're getting kicked out of our house this Friday. I'm really scared and lost a-and I just need someone right now."

He stares at me before saying, "Alice I'm so sorry. I can't believe this is actually happening. I promise we'll find somewhere for you to go and everything will be okay. You're dad's just a jerk that's all."

I laugh and the last part. He's right, my dad's the biggest jerk I've ever met.

"I'm here for you, okay?" (a/n FORSHADOWING!1!1!1!1!1!1 to the next couple pages....) He says, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"Thank you."

"Now, how about we go back to my place and open presents?" He says, making me put on a fake smile.

"Okay! I'll take my car since your present is in there."
We kiss once more and I head the opposite direction as him.

(a/n if i wrote everything that happened the whole time they opened presents it would be boring af so i'm skipping to the good parts)

We've opened presents and everything and I all of the sudden hear my phone start to ring next to me. I say "I'll be right back." and head outside on their front porch.

"Hello?" I didn't recognize the number.

"Hey it's Gemma, Harry gave me your number just in case of an emergency or something."

"Oh, hey Gemma what's up?"

"Okay so I don't know any other way to put it but...Harry's cheating on you."

Everything breaks inside me. My heart feels like it's on fire and my head is pounding.

"W-what?!" I manage to say.

"He met some girl when he was visiting and he's been talking to her ever since. He only went back for Christmas but was planning to move here, with her. I found out yesterday and I told him how wrong he was and how he's breaking you but he didn't listen to me."

I start crying and say, "Okay thank you for telling me."

"It'll be okay Alice."

"Okay..."

"Call me if you need me." She says before I say goodbye and hang up.

Everything is falling apart. Now I feel more alone than I did when Harry was gone. I have no where to go...I'm...lost.

I pull Harry outside as well.

"What's up babe?" He asks, smiling. He sees my red eyes and drops the smile.

"Don't 'babe' me." He looks at me confused. "I know what you did."

"I don't know what you're talking about." He says, looking down at his feet.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. You thought you could get by with this? And lie to me later on when you tell me you're moving? Because I know everything. How you're going to leave me tomorrow to live with her but pull the whole 'long distance' thing. I can't believe you, Harry. I don't ever want to see your face again. We're done." I yell, running towards my car. He runs after me.

"Wait Alice! I promise it's no-"

I speed away before he can finish.

Within a minute, I'm again, standing at Shawn's doorstep.
