I ran out of her house as quickly as I could and made my way home, tears brimming in my eyes. Why am I crying? Because I let Alice down. But it's not my fault. She kissed me. But you didn't stop her. But I didn't know she was going to do it and I didn't kiss back. Ugh I was driving myself crazy.

I made it to my house, out of breath and still heard faint calls from Lauren. I opened the door and went straight to my room and thought about everything.

She isn't that bad of a kisser

She looked really cute

She doesn't know about Alice so I know it's not her fault that she thought it was okay to kiss me

But did she really want to ruin our friendship by us dating? The thought of that made me shiver.

For the rest of the night, I couldn't stop thinking about her.

{saturday}

All day today I've been decorating my room. It looks super cute so far but there's still a few things I need to get such as plants, wall decor, candles, etc.

I talked to Shawn this morning. But it was just a cute little "Good Morning I love you." thing. He hasn't talked to me at all after that and I don't want to bother him. What if he's busy? Plus it's kinda nice to have time to ourselves and breathe.

It's now 6 and I just ate dinner. I plopped down on the couch and started watching netflix.

A few episodes later, my mum came and sat down next to me. She must've been doing chores or something. I checked the time again.

7:47PM

"Whatcha doing?" My mum smiled and looked at me. I looked up from my phone to answer her.

"Netflix."

"Wanna invite Shawn over? You guys could watch Harry Potter and I could pop popcorn or something." This is why I love my mum.

"Yeah but he hasn't really talked to me all day so he's probably busy. I don't wanna bother him."

"Doesn't hurt to try." My mum said and I laughed a little.

"Okay." I gave in and started to ring Shawn. After a few rings he finally answered.

"Hey."

"Hey babe. I'm bored do you wanna come over?"

"L-like now?" He stuttered. Why is he stuttering...?

"Um yeah if that's okay."

"What about 8:30?" He said then I heard something shuffle in the background. "Shh.." He whispered faintly. Wtf?!

"Shawn what's going on?" I kinda started worrying now.

"Uh nothing I'll see you at 8:30." Okay he's weirding me out.

"Okay love you."

"Bye." He didn't say I love you back. I sighed and hung up.

"So?" My mum asked, still smiling sweetly.

"8:30."

I was at Lauren's. Again. I don't know why I was doing this. I know I was wrong. And I really didn't want to break Alice's heart because I love her. But something just made me come back here. And I still couldn't get myself to tell her about Alice.
