Okay Jason... It's simple... All you need to do is talk to her... Open your mouth... And speak... To her... Probably something nice... Ask her how her day is... Be nice... It's easy...

Except... It isn't...

I'm sitting at my dest, pretending to take notes down from the teacher, but actually, I am building the courage to talk to Amelia...

I turned my head slightly to look at her. She was taking down notes like it was the end if the world...

I looked back down at my work... My hands were shaking, and i couldn't stop them...

Come on Jason... Other students are talking... It's not like your going to be the only one making noise in the class room...

My thoughts keep me building courage... And building... This is really a hard think to do...

The bell rings for interclass break, I watch as all the other students leave to get some fresh air. But Amelia doesn't go with them... She stays behind and sits at her dest, waiting for the class to start again...

Or... She's waiting for you to talk to her...

I turn to look at her and we make eye contact... Only for a split second before she goes red and faces her desk again... As do I...

This shouldn't be as hard as it is... But this makes me tremble just thinking about it...

How am I meant to talk to Amelia...

The class bell rings again, and everybody comes back into the class to begin the lesson again.

I couldn't take it... I needed to talk to her... But I was too nervous...

The rest of the lesson went pretty slowly... I sat in my desk, and attempted building the courage to talk to Amelia... When the bell rang was when I realised that I had taken too long.

I watched as everybody, including Amelia, exited the room... And I was left sitting there with my pieces of paper in front of me... Taunting me of how much time I wasted for nothing...

"Jason, you are allowed outside when it's cloudy, right?" The Biology teacher asks, he obviously knows about my condition.

"Yes, I am." I reply

"Alright then. Take your time, I'm here all lunch if you want to stay." He stated

"Thanks Sir."

I soon got up and made for the door. Waving goodbye to the Biology teacher, I exited the classroom.

I stood outside and smelled the crisp winter air, it was cold out, and that usually meant cloudy days, I had a feeling that I was going to have to come to school quite often now.

I was fine with this because it'll give me more chances to talk to Amelia.
