Sunburn: Part 25

My day was going great!

I had finally talked to the one girl i really wanted to talk to for the past weeks!!!
I had fallen over and had to take several minutes to regain my senses after talking to her though... Mia... Because i was so nervous that immediately after, my legs gave way and i was left on the floor gasping for air...

All this because i built up the courage to talk to her finally... I was simply amazed that one girl could make me feel this way!

And school was finished now!

I walked out to the front gate and stood there, waiting for my mother to come pick me up.

"Hey there Jason!" Helen called out as she came running up to me.

"Hey there Helen!" I said with a huge grin on my face.

"Huh? Why are you so super happy?" She asked me as she came and stood with me.

I simply smiled back at her and decided to drop hints.

"What?" Helen asked as she scratched her head.

"Well, i happened to have achieved one of my goals!" I said with a huge grin.

"You didn't?!" Helen yelled.

"Oh i did!!" I yelled back.

"It's about bloody time!!! Well done!!!"

"Thank you! I am super proud of myself!"

"And so you should be! Anyway, there is my ride, i best be off, catch you later Jason!" Helen said as she saw her car parked in the car park, then left.

"See you later!" I yelled to Helen as she hopped in the car...

I wondered where my mother was, she was supposed to come and get me after school, so i decided to send her a message, inquiring about how far away she is from picking me up...

It read...

To: Mum <3
I'm just texting in inquiring about what time you are coming to pick me up from school, considering you told me 3:00 and it is now 3:30, please reply soon, i would like to come home.
From: Jason

...

It did not take long for me to get a message back, within five minutes, i got a text back from my mother reading...

To: Jason
Well... It would be illegal if i drove in the state i am in at the moment... Because well i have decided to pull out the wine again hahaha... But if you walk home, we can have pizza and a movie night??? What do you think about the sound of that eh son???
From: Mum <3

So i sent back...

To: Mum <3
Alright, see you soon, you pick the movie, ill order the pizza.

I began my journey home, knowing it would take me a while. Thinking about what pizzas i should order... And hoping to dear god that my mother isn't too pissed...
