[Jay is really young in this chapter bye]

I laid on Josh's bed as I heard the front door open. I just couldn't stop thinking about what I did a few days ago. Jordan said it was okay, and that he forgave me, but I couldn't forgive myself. I tried choking him.

"Come on, don't be shy! They won't bite!" Josh joked and then I heard a female giggle. "It's been a while since I was here!" She said. The front door got shut and they were inside. I decided to go downstairs, meet whoever he brought with him, but when I got down the stairs and peeked through the creek of the door, I just couldn't go in. Something was holding me back, a bad feeling. So I eavesdropped.

"Guys! Remember Debby?" Josh said. Mark and Jordan exchanged a hug with the red haired girl, who's name was apparently Debby. "It's been a long time since we saw you!" Jordan said happily. "Yeah, I know. We have some good news!" She said, and clung onto Josh's black hoodie with red sleeves. "Yeah, we do.." Josh followed silently, smiling slightly. "Go on, tell the big news!" Mark said.

"Do you want to say it?" Josh asked her, but she responded with, "No, you do it!"

"Uhm - okay, so... Me and Debby, you know we've known eachother for, like, a really long time, yeah?" Josh started. Mark nodded and Jordan groaned, "We're waitiiing!" at which Debby chuckled. "We're together." Josh finished. Jordan's smile widened, and Mark's eyes went wide open in surprise.

And me, I started boiling with anger.

"Really? Since when?" Jordan asked, hugging his brother and the girl. "Just yet, actually." Debby answered. I threw the door open, and angrily asked, "You're cheating on me?!" and I death-stared him. Debby's gaze went to me, then to Josh, back to me, to Josh. "What?" she cried out. "We weren't even dating!" Josh said, his cheeks turning a deep color of red. "You sure as hell acted like it!" I sneered. "Joshy, what is going on here?" Debby asked, confused. "Tyler, I have no idea what you're talking about. Aren't you high on your meds?"

Well I'll be damned.

"Jesus fucking christ, Josh!" I screamed. "I'm going to have to back Tyler up here, Josh, that was a tad too far." Mark said, walking over to me and standing right beside me. "A tad? You can say that was a fuck load too far!" I screamed. "Tyler's right, Josh. You acted like you were his boyfriend." Mark said, his voice completely calm.

"C'mon, Jordan, you've got to back me up here!" Josh raised his voice, and I saw him starting to panic. "Sorry, man," Jordan started, starting to make his way over to me. I grinned, not only did I have his friend on my side, but also his brother. "Jordan, please?" He begged. "Sorry, brother, but you're on your own this time. You went too far."

I glared at Josh one last time, and send a sympathetic look at Debby. I mouthed, 'I'm sorry' to her before I left the room. "Tyler, wait!- Mark, fuck's sake! Ty!" I heard Josh struggle from behind me. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I turned around to see Jordan.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

'Yeah, where am I going?' I thought. I didn't want to stay on the streets again, and let everything that just happened, happen again. I didn't have any other friends I could crash at, due because of my actions I should stay anonymous and due to being homeschooled, I didn't know much people. It left me no choice, but to...

"Home, I guess." I answered. "Are you sure?" Jordan started. "I mean, you could stay a little longer, stay unlit for a little while?" "And live with Josh while I'm seriously mad at him? Sure." I said. "Thanks for the nice offer, Jordan, but I'll pass." "At least let me drive you home." He was determined, that's for sure. I smiled, "Now how can I pass up on that?"

"Before we go, Jordan?" I started. "What is it?" "I left my ukulele upstairs.." I mumbled. Jordan smiled slightly. "Not a problem, I'll go get it really quick." He said, and left off inside.

Just as he did, I saw the girl, Debby, stormed outside with an angry look on her face, heading towards her car. "Debby, please, wait!" I heard Josh, and he followed outside behind her. He stopped in his tracks, knowing it was no use, and sighed. He then looked at me. "Tyler..?" He started, but I cut him off. "Not a chance, kiddo." I said. "You're younger, Tyler." "Which means, more vunerable." I sneered, smiling innocently at him.

Classy but sassy, Tyler.

"Thanks, Blurry." I smiled. "Ouch, Josh." I heard from behind. It was Jordan, holding my ukulele. He handed it to me and opened up his car, and only then I noticed Debby was already long gone. "Where are you going? Jordan, where are you taking him?" Josh said, panicking a little more. "Somewhere you're not." I said, smiling.

I got in the car, opening the window and waving at Josh as his brother took me where I actually belong; home.

__

Should I ring the doorbel? Should I knock? I have keys, I could just walk in. I could climb through the window straight into my room? I could -

But the door already opened. It was my little brother Jay, and his eyes widened and jaw dropped. I smiling, tearing up. I haven't seen the poor guy in over a week, how must that have felt for him? "Tyler!" He screeched and he then hugged me very closely. I hugged him back just as tight, whispering in his ear, "Hey there, little one."

Jay's scream obviously had informed the others in this house, and soon I saw Maddison, Zack and my mother at the doorstep. I loosened my grip on Jay, accepting embraces from the others. The only one who didn't approach me, was Zack.

"I was so worried about you!", "Where have you been? Were you okay?" and "Don't ever do that again!" Escaped my mom's and sister's mouths. I was glad to see them again, but what worried me was Zack's facial expression. I couldn't quite make out what he was feeling, was he mad? Was he relieved? "Zack?" I asked. "Runaway." He muttered back. I let go of my mother and siblings, snapping, "Runaway has a name and is your brother." "You're just insane. Only mental people run away." Zack said, cut off by my sister's interruption, "Zack that's enough!" He just shook his head and walked inside.

"How about we also go inside?" My mom asked, not waiting for a response and pulling me inside. She sat me down on the couch and Jay ran into the living room with a can of Red Bull. Oh he knows me best. "Thanks, Jay." I said. I opened the can and sipped non stop until it was half full.

"So, Tyler... Where have you been? Were you okay?" My mom asked. Surprisingly, my dad wasn't home, and I wasn't fond of telling him alone. "Where's dad?" I asked. "He's uhm.. He's in Lybia. For work." Maddison explained. Our father was in the millitary, if he was far away, it might take a year before he might come back.

And I didn't get to say goodbye.

I teared up, and I covered my face with my hands. "Oh no.." I breathed. Jay sat beside me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. He doesn't know I'm back home, safe and... well. "Did he say when he might come back?" I asked, feeling a hot, thick, pathetic tear make its way down my cheek and touch hand. "I'm sorry.." I heard my mom whisper. "Can we call him?" I asked, lowering my hands and revealing my face again. My puffy eyes, my red cheeks. "Probably. You should try a few times before he picks up, you know the millitary."

"Anyways, Tyler. Where have you been?" My mom asked again. "Well.. the first few hours I've been staying on the streets, until like 1 am. Then I met this guy, his name's Josh. He took me to his, and I met his room mates, and they took real good care of me." I started. And it took me a great twenty-one minutes to explain everything.

"What an asshole." Maddie said, falling back in the pillows. "I know, right?" I answered. I never noticed the tears streaming down my cheeks until Jay wiped them away. "I'm just so glad you're okay." He said. "Yeah..." I muttered. Little did he know, I was not okay. I was heart broken. I'm never going outside again. just let me rot away in my room. I looked at my mom, she was shaking her head in disapproval. I know, mom, I know.

"What you did was really bad, but what I'm more worried about is that you almost got a boyfriend." She said. "Mom, seriously, we've been over this. That I'm bi doesn't mean I only like boys." I said, starting to get angry. "Mom, please, let that go." Maddison defended me. "You know what, I need to think about some things. Tyler, you're dismissed. Go to your room."
