I immediately called Edward, dad's liaison here in the Philippines to clean up that mess and also to dispose off my car. It was already marked by the enemies. He said my new car will arrived after two days, meaning I would have to commute for two days or maybe not. I look at my watch and it's only 6:30 pm. I hurriedly change into my denim shorts and loose white shirt and left my unit.
Nagtaxi nalang ako pa-alis since wala nga akong sasakyan, after 30 minutes I arrived at my destination. "Good evening ma'am" salubong sa akin ng isang attendant I replied to him with a nod. "What are you looking for ma'am? We have vast choices of luxury cars from different elite brands." This two storey building is a centralized dealer of different high class cars and motorcycles.
"No. Lead me to your motorcycle display." Magalang naman syang tumango sa akin tapos pinasunod ako sa kanya. We reach the second floor of the building at halos malula ako sa dami ng naka display na mga motor.
"Just tell me ma'am if you already found the model that you like." Actually there are only more or less six customers here on this floor including me at ako lang ang nag-iisang babae. I just ignore that thought and busied myself with all this precious bikes. We already reached the third row at siguro mga 20 models na ang nilampasan ko lang until a model caught my eyes. Nilapitan ko ito kaagad at nagandahan din ako sa katabi netong unit.
"That black one ma'am is a Yamaha FZ1 2015 and this black and white unit on your right is a BMW S1000R 2015 model." I am torn between these two babies in front of me. Visually, both look stunning. The Yamaha FZ1 has the body to even impress the most demanding rider. It features a fairly attractive style and a design to conquer daily commute and touring with ease. While the BMW S1000R has a to-die for impressive design that made it look like a real road scorcher. Its aggressive stance and the tail-up, nose down configuration exude the aura of a tried and true sports bike.
"Can I see the specs of these two?" Kasi kung design din lang ang hirap pumili sa dalawa. He handed me the brochures and I think I've already decided what to buy. Engine wise this BMW exceeds Yamaha, its water/oil-cooled 4-cylinder 4-stroke in-line engine, four valves per cylinder, and two overhead camshafts is really fantastic. "This BMW bike comes equipped with Race ABS, ASC systems, right?" The guy nodded.
"As well as a choice of two riding modes that come as standard to this BMW unit."
"I'll take this one." I said pertaining to the S1000R on my right.
"Great choice miss" Sabay kaming napalingon ng katabi kong attendant dun sa lalaking nagsalita sa may gilid. I think he's in his mid twenties or a little bit older at naka business suit din sya. "It's not only a sight to behold but it's also capable of producing massive power." He said smiling at me.
"Thanks." Maikli kong tugon dito at kinausap ko na yung attendant for the papers and payments. I felt his piercing stares on my back pero hindi ko nalang ito pinansin. Pero paalis na sana ako sa building na iyon after processing ng may biglang tumawag sa akin.
My forehead knotted when I saw that same guy from the showroom. "Yes? Do you need anything?" I asked him quizzically.
