I was away from school for almost two weeks. But it was fine since Jairus is more than generous enough to share his notes with me. And besides I've already learned all these stuffs back in the US I was just aiming for the diploma. For the past days they treat me like a baby even going to the bathroom naka-alalay sa akin si mommy which was very new to me. I was raised to be independent and I was shot a couple of times when I was still active and I took care of myself alone just fine.

I also haven't heard any news from Riley. Maybe he was already back in the US which is okay with me since it means I am free. Dad also called and I assured him that I was fine and he was cool with me staying here in the Philippines but once I make another mess he won't think twice in deporting me back to New York for real this time. Even Edward called and he was speechless when I said sorry. What Riley said to me the last time really hit a nerve since it's true that I keep on neglecting Edward's feelings.

My friends from school were bombarding me with texts and calls but I keep mum. Jairus hadn't said anything to them about my situation, even about us being twins. Until we fixed this gap between me and his friends we can't really tell them the truth. I was startled when my ringtone blast beside me cutting me from my trance. Kunot noo akong nakatitig sa screen. Ever since that night with Yna, Sy has been calling me nonstop pero wala akong sinagot kahit isa. I already had a jest why he was acting like a jerk for the past months since Yna showed up but still it seems like he didn't trust us enough. And I even thought we were getting closer but I guess I thought wrong. Hinayaan ko lang magring yung phone at inayos na yung gamit ko sa school. He'll get tired eventually.

"Ate!" My door suddenly burst open with a smiling Jiro coming in. "Breakfast na!" This kid already grown so much in me. Since dito lang ako palagi sa bahay we've became even closer and he was even excited for our sleepover on my condo this Friday.

"Julienne are you sure you can already drive?" We are currently on the dining area eating our breakfast ng biglang nagtanong si papa.

"Yup." I quickly answered.

"But no bikes or skates." Mom said sternly and I was about to whine and said no way but immediately shut my mouth when I felt Jairus kick my left foot under the table. I scowled at him but he just acted like nothing happened so I did my little revenge and step on his foot purposely. He grimaced at sinamaan ako ng tingin but I just smiled sweetly at him in return.

I park next to Jairus when we reach the school. I don't know but somehow I felt a little nervous after my days of absence. And then my mind drifted to Angelo which put a grim expression on my face. School will never be the same without him. Pagkalabas ko ng kotse Jairus immediately notice my shift in behavior but said nothing anyways. Sabay kaming naglakad papuntang room and though I felt those stares directed to me I remained passive. Malapit na kami sa main building ng may biglang tumawag sa akin.

"Az!" Jasmine hurriedly walked to me and surprised me with a hug. "Oh my God anong nangyari sayo bat ngayon ka lang pumasok?"

"Ah.. I was sick for days." I lied.

"Hindi ka din nagrereply nakailang text kaya ako sayo." Nagtatampo netong sabi sa akin.
