I was never afraid of death. I'll die when it's time for me to die and that's it. But seeing his lifeless body made me froze and thinks back in time. For the countless lives I've taken never have I ponder about how their closest kin would have felt. It's a pity but we all know they deserved their deaths but not this boy. I felt sickly with this kind of cruel surprise, life really is not fair. I snap back to reality when two men in white uniform started to push his bed out of the room. I screamed but no sound come out. So I briskly move towards them and shove them away from his bed.

"Az!" Logan was startled from his grieving state when one of the hospital personnel pounds his shoulder on the wall with a thump.

I didn't know Jairus followed me here until I felt him grasp my shoulder to stop me. "Azul.." I wriggled free from his hold and walk towards Angelo.

With shaking hands I slowly take off the white sheet from his face. He looks so pale but still a little warm when I stroke his chick. "Angelo.." I hiccuped and bit my lips to refrain from wailing. I have not cried for a long time. "Huy! Di ba pupunta pa tayong Disney land?" I shook his body kahit alam ko na wala na sya. That he won't be able to answer me. I can hear his mother sob louder from behind.

"Azul stand up." I am already kneeling on the floor beside his bed and Jairus help me up. "You need to let him go." I did not say anything. "He wouldn't like it if he sees you crying." Then he gently cupped my face and sweeps the tears off my face.

Not minding the other presence inside the room I hug him tight and he instantly returned it tighter. "He's not just a friend to me. He's my brother." I let myself cry on his arms until my tears were no more. "I will make them pay." I said with venom and I felt him stiffen but he said nothing.

"Logan.." Maya maya ay tawag ko dito his eyes were red and puffy when he looked at me without saying anything. "Come with me I have a favor to ask." At nauna na akong lumabas.

We stop near the fire exit. "Ano yun Az?"

"Can you find anything about this mark?" I showed him the picture of the red spider tattoo. His eyes grow wide. "Kilala mo?" I could be the best intel but not when my mind is this fucked up.

"Spiders, a gang group from the north. Pero matagal na silang tumiwalag sa association." Nakakunot noong sabi nito sa akin.

"Rogue gangsters?" He nodded. "Can you provide information about them like members and their current location?"

"Susubukan ko, pero Az anong kailangan mo sa kanila?" His suspicious eyes were on me but I keep my blank stare.

"Something personal." Kita kong magsasalita pa sana sya kaya inunahan ko na ng alis. I don't want to involve any of them. I might scare them away if they'll see what I will do to those low lives.

Gusto sana akong isama pauwi ni Jairus but I insisted on staying. Kailangan nila tita ng tulong. Angelo is their only child and now his gone. They must have been in a total emotional wreck. And I want to help ease the pain somehow.
