A regret

Outspread her wings she fly

in the dark beautiful night sky

Her beauty uncomparable

Her wings so soft but unbreakable

with them flows the magic

like sparkles in the dark

& falls down on every ground and tree bark

On moon she sits

and sings her melancholy strain

Her story of being from a beautiful lady to

a fairy in pain

Can't walk on earth or sleep

Her beauty and magic that everyone adores

and talks profound

didn't she care a bit about

But you don't know what you don't know

what she wants is what she was

To bring back the lost part, Alas!

Her wish, she shouldn't have asked for

of being a beautiful fairy with wings.

I wrote this poem when I was 14 years old.

This poem talks about the bitter-sweet feeling that a fairy has about the fact that she is a fairy.
She misses those days, when she had no wings.
Hence the title- A regret

People have told me that, this one, is one of my best creations so far. :)
