Balance

Darkness shall cast it's horrid fear

like lightness cast its mesmerising cheer

For there is balance of both in this world

I shouldn't fear for the darkness to take over

Lightness will always win over

Lies cannot blind and bind for eternity

Truth cannot be hidden in fraternity

May they be of any shape, colour or size

darkness and lightness is despite these inside

Beauty cannot hide ugliness

for it will ruin every piece of it

And out will come the real

Dare win over the darkness

And let the light shine

Our souls will be lit

With our hearts bright

with peace of light

Healing up every fear and grief.

I wrote this poem when I was 14 years old.

I had tried my best, to create a contrast between light & darkness, while writing this. I wanted to show how they both exist together in this world, & how everything in this world has it's opposite.
Hence the title- Balance
