My bride, my dearest lady
For you've walked all these miles and times
Fought to stand here
In front of me,
in that dress as flawless as your face
As fresh as those flowers that you hold
Your lips tightly curved in a smile
With those eyes that hold something untold
& those rosy cheeks, that blush some more
I've come to know
as the shiny ring I hold
You are the one I want to spend
the rest of my life with
Allow you that privilege
To keep taking my breath away, forever
Hold hands, walk together
And let them throw, rose petals in the air
as in the moment I hear you giggling
With those same eyes, now closed in joy
And all we are is, one now.

I wrote this poem recently
( 18 years old )This poem is not at all what I have felt. But just imagined. It is from a male's point-of-view, a groom.
I have imagined a christian wedding ( I'm hindu though xD ). The tone of the poem is romantic; as the groom stands at his wedding preparing himself with lovely reasons to say 'yes' to his bride, to the girl he now realizes he is in love with.
He admires her, & feels thankful to have her.Hence the title- Now I know
