Part 16 :))

Chapter 16

"You're lying" I said to Caleb, looking him directly in the eyw, determined not to back down. If this was one of his dirty tricks to turn me and his brother against eachother he has stooped too low this time. 

Caleb had a look of fake pity on his face. "Oh how I wish I was!" 

"Why would Ryan kill my brother?" I asked, I was desperate for answers. Does this mean Jay wasn't involved at all? Was I wrong about him all along? Did Ryan know that I was Shaun's sister?  

"No, enough questions to me, you can just ask Ryan yourself when he gets here!" Caleb said. 

"Ryan's coming?" I asked, puzzled, I thought Ryan wanted nothing to do with his brother?

"Yes, because you are going to call him" Caleb said, an evil smirk began to appear on his face. I couldn't do it, even if Ryan had killed my brother I still cared about him, I loved him. Besides, I needed to speak to Jay about what happened that night. 

"No!" I protested. "I need to go" 

I got up to try and leave my I was pulled back onto my chair by two guys who were much bogger than me. Feeling a little intimidated by the looks I was getting from all of the guys in this room, I decided to sit down. 

"Good choice" Caleb said. He pulled out his phone. "Now, I'm going to call Caleb and you will tell him that you are here and you need him to come and save you."

I nodded. I had to do what he said. I took the phone from Caleb and listened to the ringing tone, I prayed Ryan wouldn't answer but he did. 

"Hello?" I heard his deep voice through the phone. 

"Ryan, you have to come and save me. I'm at Caleb's place" I said into the reciever. Ryan was about to say something else but before I could hear what he had to say Caleb grabbed the phone. 

"All done, now stay here" Caleb said before walking away. As he walked away the guys around the room followed like sheep. They all started talking about something and I curiously decided to eavsdrop on the conversation and I immediately began to regret it. 

"When he gets here we kill him" Caleb said. All of the men nodded in sync. "If we let him live he will tell everyone about the business."

"But he's your brother" Said one of the men. 

"I don't care. This is business" 

I panicked. If he was willing to kill his own brother then what would he do to me. I had to escape. I looked around the room for the exit but it was locked. I looked around for other escape routes, there was a window in the corner that looked perfect because it was totally out of the view of the guys and Caleb. 

I walked over to the window but it was tiny, I had to try and squeeze through. The window was broken at the bottom so I had to be really careful. I stepped over and then attempted to squeeze my body through the tiny gap. I managed to get through but I cut my arm in the process. My arm was covered in Blood but I couldn't care less at this point. I needed to run. 

I ran and when I got to the bus stop I called Ryan. 

"Zoe?" He said. 

"Yes, I ran away from Caleb but I need to talk to you" My phone started beeping because I was out of battery. 

"What?" Ryan asked. I began to get frustrated. I didn't have time to explain! 

"Meet me at Jay's house in 10 minutes. We all need to talk"

Haha..sorry to end it there! :( This was just a teaser for the longer chapter that will be up some time this week! I promise..
