Hey Guyss! Here is Part 9..
I looked at him in shock and the gun was still in my hands.
"What do you mean?" I asked, hoping that by some miracle the gun would disappear and everything would go back to normal.
Ryan quickly walked towards me and snatched the gun out of my hand and put it back in the drawer where I found it.
"Why were you looking through my stuff?" Asked Ryan suddenly sounding really defensive.
"I..Um.." I tried to think of an excuse.
"Leave." Said Ryan. I didn't move, I thought he was joking at first but the look in his eye showed me that he was dead serious.
"Ryan.." I began but I couldn't think of anything to say, so I put my head down and left the house without saying one word.
When I got back my house I lay on my bed thinking about the events of today. I was in my pyjamas and my music was blasting through my ipod and the thoughts floated around in my head.
Why did Ryan have a gun? Maybe it was there for defence? But why did he need to defend himself and even if it was for defence he could have just told me, its not like I would have judged him? The anger in his eyes made me feel scared but also worried, I could tell he had millions of secrets that were eating away at him but he couldn't tell anyone. But why?
My thoughts ended up shifting their way to Jay. I wonder what he done after I left the party? Him and the girl seemed to be getting pretty close, she was grinding on him and he can't even say that he was drunk because we had only been at the party for half an hour. As if Jay read my mind, My phone buzzed on my bed indicating that I had a text from Jay:
"Babe where are you?"
If he could text in full English and find my number on his phone he clearly wasn't drunk. I was angry at him, but I have no idea why. I texted him back
"I came home. You looked like you were having too much fun with a blonde slag so I decided not to interrupt"
I pressed the send button and thought about all of the ways he could react. He could go one of two ways. He could get really angry at me for not trusting him and just leaving the party like that or he could say he's really sorry and come to my house the next day for a make-out session. I got another text:
"I'm coming over."
That was all it said. Great I thought to myself. I got changed out of my pyjama bottoms and put on some shorts and a tank top. It was really hot in my room so I turned my music off and went downstairs to watch TV as I waited for Jay to come over.
After about 10 minutes of watching friends my doorbell rang and I got up to answer. As I opened the door Jay immediately walked in.
"Why did you just leave like that?" He said loudly. Not really shouting but more like the way your mum asks you when your home late from school.
"I thought you were a little busy." I said flatly
"She was all over me. I don't even know her."
"She was all over you? So you kissed her?"
"I didn't want you. I only like kissing you" Jay said walking towards me and plating a light kiss on my lips. He led me towards the sofa and he sat down next to me and put his arm around me as I snuggled into him. He put the news on.
"25 year old man stabbed to death by young teenagers" Said the new presenter. Me or Jay didn't say anything and Jay turned the TV off filling the room with a deafening silence. Tears began to roll down my cheek as the story on TV brought back memories and opened up old wounds.
