Pain was all she knew. They beat her on a daily basis. Feeding her the rotten remnants of food. Burning her with hot water, freezing her with cold. Taking away her clothes only to return them covered in dirt still. She hadn't bathed since she was kidnapped. Her hope of Sage helping her deminished daily. She heard whisperings of sending her as a message to some king. She wasn't quite sure. She never spoke. Screamed, but never spoke. Those bastards wouldn't break her. She didn't know anything about a brotherhood. She didn't know. She was afraid for her life. These men, they did horrible things to her. They branded her. Cut her. Shaved her head. She was no longer the beautiful woman she once was. She was ugly, beaten, and injured.
She heard them coming so she pretended to be asleep. She didn't want the torture to begin again. When they entered, they removed her ropes and placed her on her back on what felt like a bed. They begin pushing her out of the building and into a car. She waited for the torture to begin. They had moved her a lot in the last week's because her screams were getting too loud. At least that's what she thought was the cause. The car started moving and the men remained quiet. About twenty minutes later she is shoved off the bed and out of the truck onto the hard ground. She it it with such force she was knocked out.Darius smiled as the four brothers carved a letter of Sages name into Wades back. The ceremony was beautiful and he couldn't wait until he one day had his. The doors were open even though it was cold and everyone in the room tensed when they smelled lessers. Everyone ran from the house with their hidden weapons and what they found shocked them. A thin woman covered in blood. There was blood coating her clothes and the ground under her. Vishous picked the girl up and turned and a horrified scream echoed into the sky.
"Phoenix!"
Sage had been looking for her before the attack. Darius knew who she was because Sage had reacted that way. She ran to follow Vishous into the house.
" She smells of them. They dropped her here. How did they know where to find us?" Someone asks from the crowd.
"I'll ask my informant for information at dawn. For now give Jane some space. Wade take your bride to your room and make her relax. This stress is too much for the baby." Wrath told his son.
Mine.
What was that? That voice told him someone was his. Could it possibly be Phoenix? No he was imagining things. He followed the crowd up the stairs. He didn't want to be in the way. He went to his room. Poor Phoenix, she must have endured a lot by the lessers. She looked terrible.
Mine.
There it was again and he refused to listen to it. How could he? It had to be wrong. Phoenix didn't belong to him. Did she?Zsadist looked at the face of the girl that was dropped to them. She looked Angel like. Though her tattoos told a different story. She was bald and scared. There were burn marks, he could see her bones. He saw every cut ok her body. Each tattoo cut. Blood caked her skin. She was muscular for a human female. Her change was coming. But the question remained. Was she his? She looked a little like him. Some of Phury. God she had to be his. She looked like both him and his twin. If it were true, who was her mother? No one stuck out in his mind.
" We need to operate, Z, we need you gone." Jane ordered.
"Take a sample. I think she may be mine." He said as he exited the room.
He prayed for the lessers sake that she survived. If she was his child he would avenge every single wound they inflicted onto her. He would kill every last one, if he had to. His mate grabbed his hand.
"Let's go up to last meal. They will need to be there a while. She is in good hands." She said.
"Bella, she may be mine. She looks like objet and I." he said.
"Then so be it."*******
