He was shocked when he heard the car peel away. They raced after them but couldn't get to them. He tried to follow his blood but he couldn't. Something was wrong. Phury had asked him to go with him to scout for the car. They were about six miles out and found the car empty and smelling of lesser. All four women were gone. They poofed backed to the house and ran to Wraths study where the others were gathering to call their cell phones.
"I've got Quinn on the way to the car. But it was empty and smelling of lesser. Butch I think your powers for this one." Phury said.
"Phoenix has Darius blood in her. Have you tried tracking her?" Butch asked him.
"Tried and failed. Something isn't letting me. Its like my blood doesn't exist in her anymore." He said with a shudder, "Is that possible?"
"I suppose it's possible if most or all of the blood in her system has been drained. But I doubt the leaders have gone that far." Said Beth. "Wade try tracking Sage, Mattew track Bianca. Someone has to know how to find these women."She was tied to a chair. That's all she really knew. By the smell of the place they were with the enemy. She was blindfolded and couldn't see. Her oversensitised hearing told her that there were at least four of them and that the others were near by, but not in the same room. She felt weak and a raw feeling in the back of her throat. She was thirsty. Hungry for blood. Footsteps came closer and closer until they stopped outside her door. She listened with her head down as the door opened and two sets of footsteps came in. The door closed and they came closer to her. She heard a clink of metal on metal and tensed slightly. One of them smelled vaguely familiar.
"Well we'll well if it isn't my favorite child." Said a voice she remembered, one of her many tormentors.
She remained silent and still. The burning in her throat when he was near was almost too much to bare. She wasn't sure how much longer she could live like this. When she heard him sigh, she knew he knew she wasn't going to give him any indication that she knew him. She closed her eyes and just after he pulled the blindfold off her head. He slapped her hard and still she didn't move. She heard a click and she was stabbed in the leg. She gasped at the pain and slowly opened her eyes and looked at him.
"Ah, there she is. My favorite little princess. Do you remember me?" He asked her. She ignored him. "Last chance. Do you remember me?"
Still she ignored him. He stabbed her again and again for a few minutes and she didn't make a sound.
"Let me explain how this works. I have a remote. It controls lights in your friends rooms. When I am not satisfied with your actions or your responses or you don't cooperate with me, one of them will get hurt." He said with a sly grin, "Get the picture." She nodded. "Let's try this again. Do you remember me?" She nodded again, "Good girl. See you always did learn fast. Now what shall I do with you? Relive our past? Walk down memory lane? Shall I try something new with you? Make you marry me? I can smell your needing. Its near. Get you pregnant so you have no choice but to remember the best man that ever happened to you? I'll think of something. But for now...." He smiled. "Kiss me."********
