[Frank]

Six days later-

Gerard had taken me to his place and I was sitting at the dinning table with his family.

"...Can you pass the salt?" The words faded in.

"Mhm." I nodded handing it to his mother.

"Dad, I've been with him this whole week. He's a great person, you just have to get to know him. Please, let him stay." Gerard was whispering to his father.

"No, he is a complete stranger." His father said harshly.

"Please." His eyes glossed over.

His brother and mom were talking so they thought I couldn't hear.

"Fine, but he has to go to church with us, school too. Also this isn't going to be free. One of you needs to get a job. And if I find anything missing-" his dad sighed.

"Thank you so much." Gerard gave him a side hug and resumed dinner.

Night-

The spare room was set up for me by Gerard. They seemed well off. I hope I'm not a burden.

I fall asleep with drifting eyes thinking about how my life had changed so quickly in 6 days.

I went from bloody on the street to warm in a bed where people wanted me.

I think I will be okay.
