Ok, it has been a really long time since I last updated. Well, I have been thinking about how to end this book, and every idea I have seems to have the same actual end. The Ragnarok. For those of you who don't know, that is what Thor 3 is going to be called, but it is also an actual thing in Norse Mythology, it is when the Universe ends and a new perfect one takes its place. So I hope you enjoy! I worked pretty hard on it :)

Several millennia Hela had spent in Helheim. She had ruled as their immortal queen for that long. She was no longer an ignorant child as she had once been when she was exiled to that place. She had lost track of her age a very long time ago, she knew she was definitely older than she looked though. She looked to be in her late thirties- early forties, but she was far older than that. In the time that she had ruled Helheim, she had grown to love it and the evil souls that lived there.
It had been a very long time since she'd slept, or even eaten. She was too worried, dreams came to her every night, terrible dreams of a great war. A war between all of the Realms of the Universe. In her dreams, she would join forces with the Jotuns and later on, the fire giants and fire demons of Muspelheim. Even the few surviving Dark Elves would side with them. They would fight against all of the other Realms. The great dragon Nidhug will fly above the battleground in the fields of Vigrid, devouring all of the fallen until someone kills him. Families would turn against each other, she even had fleeting glimpses of herself, killing ruthlessly. That thought made her shiver with pleasure, until she saw herself killing someone that she had supposedly loved once, Nari was his name, one of her brothers. She saw fire, so much fire, and she saw the sun and moon being eaten by the wolves Skoll and Hati. She even saw the world tree, Yggdrasil, fall to the ground. She saw the old king Odin fall in battle, and impossibly, saw her own death. They always ended with everything on fire, then she would wake up. The dreams came every time that she did fall asleep, she had begun to worry that they were more than just dreams.
"Nothing more than dreams." she murmured to herself. "Dreams, just dreams." She did that often, murmured things to herself, paying no heed to what went on around her.
"My lady?" one of her best advisors, a demon, asked.
"DREAMS! THEY'RE JUST DREAMS LUCIFER!" she shrieked in his face. He shrunk back a little, shocked by her sudden outburst. "Just, dreams..." she went back to murmuring. Lucifer backed away and left her to herself. Lucifer should go, she thought. He was always causing trouble, he often went to Midgard to terrorize the people there. What should she care though, they were just people. She went back to her thoughts.

Freya woke up in the middle of the night. She had a disturbing dream, she grabbed a piece of parchment and some ink, she began writing down what she remembered before it escaped her mind. Fire, death, then nothing. She wrote the important details first, then she tried to remember the other details. She would have to tell Odin about this. It was her job to report any strange sights of the future after all.

Loki couldn't sleep. He had a strange feeling that something was going to go terribly wrong, and soon. He didn't know what, he just knew that something was going to happen. It had been millennia since he thought about her. Her being Hela, his exiled daughter. Every time he thought about her, his heart broke, but now it was different. It almost seemed like the bad feeling he had, had something to do with her.
His kids were all grown up now, but only the twins had stayed to live with him. Jormungandr of course had to stay in the sea, news reports came in often of a monster in the Pacific. Sleipnr left 2 millennia ago to aid Odin in battle, they were almost unbeatable together. Although he hated Odin, he had to admit that Sleipnr had made the right choice, there probably wouldn't be much left of the realms if his sin hadn't helped in battle. Fire or Frost Giants would have taken over or something.
"Father?" Nari poked his head in. "I have something to tell you, and I think I have kept it secret for too long."
Loki frowned. Secret? His boys trusted him with everything, what secret did Nari have? "Come on in." Loki told him, quickly changing his frown into a smile.
Nari did. He then proceeded to tell him about some dreams he'd been having, something about the end of the world. Then, after a slight hesitation, he told Loki about a vision he said that he'd had when Hela was exiled. Loki tensed at her name but let Nari finish. "In the vision, Hela killed me in battle. But she wouldn't do that for real would she?" He ended fearfully.
"No I'm sure she wouldn't" Loki said. He'd tried to sound reassuring, but he could hear the doubt in his voice. Hela had been in Helheim for millennia, who knows what she was like now? She had once admitted that she enjoyed killing people, for all he knew, that feeling could have grown stronger in that sick place.
Nari nodded. "I'm sorry if I bothered you, I'll go back to bed now." he said, and left. Loki smiled at him as he walked out, he still acted like a twelve year old sometimes. It was one of the many things that made him so special.

War was definitely coming to the Realms. Jotuns were growing restless, fire giants constantly threatened war, and Odin had no doubt that Hela would want her revenge. He worried about how it would end. He decided to take no risks and prepare his forces for the upcoming battle. He had every able bodied villager put into his army, and he trained them all harder than ever.
He wanted to go to Midgard and warn them, but they had grown independent over the millennia. They no longer believed in gods and magic. They only thought of their realm, their machines, and their own futures. They would never listen to him.
Freya came into the room and bowed. "Beg your pardon O Father, but I have had a disturbing dream of the future." and she proceeded to tell him of this strange dream. Odin nodded, yes, a war was coming, but worse than he expected. She had seen the deaths of every living thing, including himself. It would have to happen sometime, but now that his death was so close he didn't know what to do. He thanked her and she left.
He trained all of his armies himself. He warned all of the Realms that he could trust and who would believe him. He was ready for this war, were the others?
