Hey guyssss!!! So I finally had an idea for this! Sorry it took so long to think up.
----------------
Hela was gathering every soul in her realm, every spirit, every ghoul, every zombie, every skeleton, every thing under her rule she was gathering into the great hall. She was giving them weapons, she was preparing for war. A frost giant, followed by a fire giant walked into the room and stood on either side of her.
"We can't win this without your troops. They are unbeatable." The frost giant, Vardi, said to her.
Hela said nothing, she knew that her troops could be beaten, and by a mistake a few years back she had given the enemy the key to erasing her people from all existence. Not even a memory remaining. It was a special kind of blade, few of its kind, but they could be replicated.
This weapon had two halves to it. One half being pure diamond, the other half being obsidian. If it even grazed one of her people they would be wiped from existence. Nobody except her would ever remember them. They would have been erased from time.
She did not bother to hide her true form during the day, most thought her a monster, perhaps that is what she had become in the long years she spent trapped in the realm of the dead.
She now killed at random, both for pleasure and for increasing her ranks. She wanted to be sure that she could win vengeance against the one-eyed king. He was the one who banished her at such a young age, he was the one who exiled her, who named her a villain. If that is what he believed her to be then she would be exactly that.
The last she had heard from the trickster, the one who she only barely remembered to be her father, he had tried to kill her.
Loki the Trickster had lured her into a trap which she had only barely escaped. She became a sworn enemy of him and all his kin. Until she found that the frost giants wanted him dead also, an old grudge for betraying their old leader Loffey. His father.
They sided together with the fire giants who also hated the Asgardians and Midgardians, to fight in a battle that was believed to become the biggest, bloodiest battle, with few or no survivors.
-----
She raised a sword and ran into battle, her army quickly flew past her, some literally. She quickly locked combat with the one called Nari. She remembered loving him once. She could feel no love anymore, she will never feel love again.
After killing him she moved on to her next victim. Being half corpse she must be extra careful of all blades, she was twice as vulnerable than her people. She locked in combat with Nari's twin, Vali. She became wounded badly but she continued to keep up her fight until she bested, then killed, Vali.
As she saw his body join her ranks she felt a small twinge of pain. She jerked her head and turned to fight a random group of Asgardians and Midgardians. She made quick work of them all but wondered why she felt pain, possibly even guilt, at killing Vali. Vali's body fell close to Nari's and a fire giant stood over them. She felt as if she could remember something but shook the feeling away. She was getting to distracted. What was so important about her past that she was getting distracted in battle. She quickly turned and killed several people. She turned and saw that the dog Fenrir had chosen to side with her and her alliance. Fenrir and Odin were locked in combat.
Hela felt jealousy run through her veins but shook it away as she cut down anyone who dared to challenge her. She didn't care who killed Odin so long as he lay dead in the end.
Fenrir bit down on Odin's throat as Odin thrust his sword into the beast's belly. The two died together. She was losing men to the diamond/obsidian blades rapidly. There were now maybe 30 people all fighting each other.
Suddenly a huge serpent came crashing out of the water and wrapped itself around Hela. She screamed and cut at it trying to get free and join the bulk of the fight again.
Nothing seemed to pierce its scales. She quickly recognised it as the great serpent Jormungandr. It's long teeth pierced her side as she stabbed its great maw. The serpent writhed and was dead in an instant. Hela hit her head on a rock as it landed but did not black out.
She got up unsteadily and stumble toward the fight. She killed the last living Asgardian and his body fell onto a diamond/obsidian blade preventing him from returning to stand by her side. She could feel her strength failing. The last thing she saw before she died was a fire giant burning everything in the battlefield. Burning every realm and universe to begin again. She took a last, shaky breath, then all was gone.
----------
Hela woke up abruptly in her quarters. She glanced around her and realised that she was still in Helheim. And in Helheim she would have to stay forever. It had been three years since Odin exiled her. And for the first time in those three years, she wondered about her father.
----------
Loki had gone back to Midgard, back to his family, two and a half months after Odin sent her away. He hoped that she would perhaps be there but she was not.
Nari ran up to him the instant he showed up. SHIELD men were crowding him, pointing guns at him to be sure that he wouldn't try anything.
"Father something happened there! What was it?" Nari questioned immediately.
"Hela... She..."
"Where is she father? Why has she not returned with you?"
"Odin has exiled her. She was possessed and now she is gone forever."
"May we ever see her again?" Nari asked. Vali had hidden himself but wept at these next words which Loki spoke.
"Perhaps we may in a few millennia, perhaps never. Only time may tell."
Vali had always been closest to Hela. But as Loki said these words to Nari, he cried because he had seen a faint image of being killed by his beloved sister.
-------
Sadness. That was what filled the household of Loki Laufeyson. Everyone mourned the loss of Hela. The one who had once made them smile. The one who would pull endless pranks. The one who was so carefree.
Vali knew that he would not see her again until that dreaded day when she would kill him. But he decided to keep that to himself.
Loki tried to make them feel better sometimes. He even took them to an ocean one time to meet their brother Jormungandr. Nothing seemed to cheer them up.
------------
Odin sat in his throne. He had his head resting in his hands. He knew the devastation that he had caused to Loki and his family. He didn't like Loki very much, but he was his son and he didn't like to see him hurt.
He almost thought about calling her back and saying he was sorry, but when he remembered what a threat he posed to both him and his kingdom he pushed her to the back of his mind. Then he continued to sit and do absolutely nothing.
-----------
Hela was angry. She hated Odin for what he had done. She hated the fact that she couldn't look normal ever again. She hated Loki and her brothers for not even bothering to visit her, or check up on her at all. Just because this ghoul had possessed her. She never really meant to hurt anyone, but she couldn't help it. Why did this happen to her? She sighed and put her head in her hands. She felt like crying but that would seem less professional as a queen. She decided to push her entire past life out of her mind and wait patiently for the day that she would have her sweet revenge on those she once loved.
