After an hour of playing hide n' seek with her dad and brothers, Hela sat down. Sleipnr whinnied and Loki went to go talk to him.

Hela sat with Nari and Vali. They were just talking, messing around, stuff like that. It soon became clear that Nari got into more mischief, Vali was a bit more responsible, but just a bit.

Loki called Vali over to him. Hela and Nari looked at each other and began to whisper to each other. After a while they giggled and got up.

Hela followed Nari into the kitchen. Their plan was to make mischief and get out before they got caught. First Nari grabbed a strainer just before a cook filled it. Then Hela "accidentally" dropped a bag of flour on the floor. The whole room was covered in white powder, and just as we were about to make a run for it, a cook saw us.

"Hey! You kids clean up this mess!" she called. She started to chase after us. In her haste she bumped into another cook who was carrying a box of eggs. The cook holding the eggs dropped them and they cracked open on the floor.

Hela and Nari ran out laughing. When they got back to the garden Loki was still talking with his other kids. They began to plan their next move.

They were giggling and acting like five year olds. Loki came over to them and raised an eyebrow at the pair of them. The cook who had been chasing them came out and spotted them.

"You hooligans! You two better clean up that mess you made. You even made Lucindr sprain her ankle!" she screamed at them. She chased them and began screaming some more. Loki looked at the screaming cook and back at the two, he had finally put the pieces together.

"What did you do?" he asked the two. He held in his smile, but his eyes sparkled in amusement.

"Should I tell him?" Hela asked.

"No! I wanna tell him." Nari answered.

"Ok, you tell him then." Hela agreed.

"How about you go swing by the kitchen." Nari told his father, then he ducked because the cook just swung her arm out.

"Please cook, I will take care of my children. How about you go start cleaning and I will send them in to help shortly." Loki told the cook. She sighed but then turned on her heel and stormed back to the kitchen.

"How about we go to the kitchen and clean up after whatever mess you made yea?" Loki told his kids. They nodded and followed behind him.

Loki followed his children to the kitchen. He could only imagine what kind of trouble they had gotten themselves into.

When he walked into the kitchen he could barely stifle his laughter. They had made a mountain of flour and cracked eggs were scattered on the floor all around it. The cooks were scurrying around it trying to finish the dinner they were making.

Nari looked at Loki and smiled. "Don't worry dad, I got this." he said. He snapped his fingers and the mess was gone. the flour was back in its bag, and the eggs were in a mixing bowl.

"Thank you son." Loki told him and led them out. Loki said goodbye to his sons and led Hela back to her room.

He dropped her off and left for his room. He still couldn't believe that Odin had allowed him to stay out of his cell. He was supposed to leave Hela alone, but there was no way in Helheim that he was gonna do that.

He went to his room and changed into better clothes before dinner. This would be fun. He opened his door to head down and he tripped over a wire. Then a cup of green goo landed on his head. He sighed, "Only Hela."

Then he wiped of the goo and walked down to dinner. Dinner went without anything unusual. He followed Hela to her room and told her goodnight before he left.

Around midnight he heard screaming. To be specific it was a shrill scream of a girl. Loki knew in a second that it was Hela. He jumped out of bed and ran down the halls to Hela's room. Sure enough she was the one who was screaming. She thrashed around in her bed.

"Hela. Hela wake up sweetheart." Loki shook her lightly. She opened her eyes and whimpered.

"It w-was m-my fault." she said, "It was m-my f-fault." she sobbed into her hands. Loki pulled her close to him and laid down next to her. She sobbed into his chest and wiped her nose on his shirt. He didn't mind, all he cared about was keeping her safe from her nightmares.

When she had calmed down he asked if she was okay and she nodded. He got up to go back to his bed.

"Dad?" she whispered. He turned around. "Could you stay with me? Please?"

His heart leaped at the fact that she still wanted him. He laid next to her again and held her in his arms. "Always." he told her. Then they fell asleep.
