Natasha walked into Hela's room to wake her up. Hela woke up immediately and looked at her arms. When se was done she looked up at Natasha.

"Yes?" she asked.

"Breakfast time." she told her. "Are you coming?"

"Yeah, let me get changed first." she told her.

"You could just go in your pajamas." She offered.

Hela shook her head. "No thanks." she said and grabbed some fresh clothes. They were black pants and a green shirt. Hela sighed. Of course it was green. That was Loki's favourite colour. Hela preferred neon purple or electric blue.

She put it on anyway and walked out to meet Natasha in the hallway. On the way to breakfast Natasha mostly talked about how she wanted to be the one to kick Loki's butt. Hela soon lost interest in the conversation and stared at her gun.

She couldn't help but wonder how mad she would be if she filled the gun with a Midgard food called Skittles, or another kind of candy thing. She'd be shooting candy at the enemy she would fight instead of bullets. And she'd never know it was Hela! She would grab the gun during breakfast.

-----

After breakfast Hela went to her room on her own. She grabbed a package of skittles and smarties and poured them into the gun. She snuck outside to see if it would work but before she could fire it at a tree it was ripped out of her hands.

She looked up and saw Steve staring down at her. Natasha was behind him. He handed her the gun and she put it back in its pocket thing on her hip.

When she was gone Steve broke the silence. "So, what were you doing with that?" he asked.

"Promise not to tell?" Hela asked.

"Depends on what you were doing." he said. Hela decided to take her chances. She liked Steve more than any of the others so she told him about the candy. When she was done Steve started laughing.

"Genius! Just pray you don't get caught." he warned her.

"You won't tell then?" she asked him.

"I won't tell, you better go, she's off to firing practice so you might wanna hide." he informed her then walked off.

Hela ran and hid in a closet, true to what Steve had said Natasha ran through the halls screaming her name. Soon she could hear Tony, Agent Colson, and Clint joining the search for her. Bruce hadn't joined, probably so he wouldn't get stressed, but Hela was slightly surprised when he was the one who discovered her.

The calls if the others were still pretty loud. That usually meant that they were still nearby. She heard Tony say something to someone.

"Joining the search?" Tony asked.

"No." Bruce answered.

"Then why are you out of the lab? No law against it of course, but you never leave that room." Tony said.

"I have a few supplies in this closet that I need to grab." Bruce explained.

Footsteps came closer. And Bruce poked his head in. His attention was on a box on the upper shelf so he didn't notice Hela. In fact, he would probably have never noticed her had she not sneezed. The dust from the shelf wasn't very good for her.

Tony had happened to be walking by when she sneezed too. Bruce looked down and Tony poked his head in. He put a hand on his ear and said, "Found the troublemaker. I repeat, found the troublemaker."

Hela noticed that Tony was wearing two metal bracelet type things. She wondered what would happen if she pushed that one blinking button on them.

On impulse she reached up and pushed it on both bracelets. Suddenly a red and gold metal thing came rushing toward him and spread along his body until he looked like a metal statue. Hela giggled at the result if pushing the button.

"Oh you think that's funny huh?" Tony asked her. Hela laughed harder because his voice sounded different. Tony pointed a red laser thing at her chest and she stopped laughing.

Just as she stopped, Tony started laughing and walked away chuckling to himself. Hela stuck he tongue out at him and ran to her room. She bumped into Natasha and Clint, it seemed that they had given up because they were engaged in a somewhat important conversation.

When she got to her room she remembered being taught a teensy bit if magic by Frigga before she came to Midgard. She used that magic to decorate her dull room and she was laughing her head off as random colours appeared on the walls.

Hela was invited to come to lunch with the "Avengers" as they called themselves. She declined and skipped lunch entirely. On her way to dinner she could hear a familiar voice in her head.

"Hela." it whispered. "Hela, why did you leave me? Why did you go away?"

Hela pondered the voice all through dinner. She knew she'd heard it somewhere. Just before she fell asleep she remembered whose voice it was.

It was Loki's voice.
