Hero's Plight

Through our lives we suffer the hero's plight,

As we all want to stand up and fight,

And to push ourselves to great height,

For the triumph of struggle is our delight,

We believe that we are the only heroes to struggle through the night,

Yet we never shall see that it can't be right,

As to not be the hero is our deep fright,

Which is why we subject ourselves to the hero's plight.
