What lies in redemption;
Is it the sad song of whimpering tears of whispers,
The long, twisted path of solivagant solitude,
The ubiquitous reminders of suffering?
Or is it a happiness of which is graspable,
But never fully tangible?
Who would wish to walk the path of redemption;
Is it he who cries when the rest sleep through the cold dark of night,
The woman who shivers in lack of company on the street,
The child whose heart has been shattered repeatedly?
Or is it only the survivors who suffer,
From what is and is not their fault?
Who shall deserve the weight of sorrow,
Who bears the heaviest price,
Who has spent their long nights alone in fear,
Who deserves the peace of the struggled journey of redemption?
